Modern and clean apartment. Centrally located in Morpeth which is lovely. Great communication from the owners

Lovely interior, super cosy modern vibes! Spa facilities were a bonus and the pillows on the bed were super comfy. Great wee location with lots of shops/cafes/coffee shops right outside. Loved the roll top bath.
Mattress wasn't the comfiest and there wasnt a curtain over the door in our bedroom leading to the Spa facilities. There was window stickers to block anyone from outside seeing in and they did block out most of the light but not all and im a super light sleeper so had to hang a towel from the top of the door to fully block the light. Working the heaters was super difficult.

Modern, beautiful, access to hot tub, big tv
If ground floor are very close to people using the spa or coming home. A few issues with the apartment which have been fed back so hopefully resolved now - broken bed, tap, lights etc.

We - my husband, 10 year old son, cocker spaniel and myself, stayed in Apartment 2 for a week. We used it as a base for our holiday and it was perfect. The location is right in the centre of Morpeth, and the renovation of the building has been done fantastically well.
I was sent various numbers to contact if we needed anything, and almost daily we saw people who we could talk to if anything cropped up. There was actually a problem with the drains outside that began to effect our toilet. Within twenty minutes, two maintenance men arrived, and not long after, DynoRod had been booked. The issue was resolved before we arrived home later that night.
There was a separate laundry room that came in very handy after beach days or paddle boarding on the river!
To those expecting a welcome basket, given the location is a few minutes walk from Lidl, Morrisons and M&S Food, I don't feel it's necessary. Go and pick out bits you'd personally enjoy...it isn't out in the sticks!
We paid to use the spa facilities and it topped off a wonderful day. We were also able to use them a second time, followed by a really lovely Indian takeaway from next door. We sat in the courtyard to eat (it was our last night) and it finished the whole trip off nicely.
It is dog friendly, which was great for us. Ours did throw us under the bus somewhat! We were apprehensive to leave him one night to watch a Newcastle game. However we came away early and he seemed to handle it well. It gave us the confidence to leave him again to have dinner with friends who live locally...and he played bark tennis with another dog in the building! We got the dreaded call to say there had been complaints, so we rushed back. All was quiet when we arrived, and he was very tired indeed! So apologies from us if you were disturbed on Monday early evening.
The bed/mattress in the main bedroom was very hard to get comfortable on. As soon as my husband joined me, it was obvious how noisy it was, and the springs made us lean into one another in the middle. I opted to spend the week in the spare bed of our sons room. Not ideal for some but we made it work. We noticed as we packed to leave that the central support under the bed is missing, perhaps that is the issue?
The kitchen would benefit from more pans, utensils etc. For a long weekend it would be easy to manage, but for a weeks stay I had to get a little creative with how we cooked meals.
Parking wardens! We were directed to a loading bay at the front of the building, however I unknowingly tipped into a disabled section at the front same bay. So that was a lovely £35 welcome charge!

The apartment was right in the centre of Morpeth, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment is well furnished, although the addition of the black shelf and hanging unit (not shown in the photos on Booking.com) has made it quite dark. The kitchen is well equipped.
Parking isn’t as easy as we thought it would be, it wasn’t always easy to find parking close to the accommodation. There was a lot of noise on the Saturday night but we expected that as the apartment is on the main street; this might be an issue for some guests.

Location, kitchen, beds comfortable and staff
Smell (diffuser in property) but air fresheners sorted this out!

Location was ideal. Advertisement stated use of spa no mention it was to be paid for extra! Apartment not ideal for privacy
Extra cost for use of sauna, hot tub and £17 per session a LOT considering cost of apartment
No privacy as facilities in open court yard
My mum
Paid extra for another night and was charge twice for cleaning! Once via booking.com then another £20 even though we didn’t have two cleaning same coat should have been for Sunday or Monday check out
Wouldn’t stay again. Much better places for entire place with hot tubs and no limit or additional cost

The apartment is beautiful - decorated to a high standard and with high spec furniture and crockery!
It is located so central in Morpeth and has very well informed details about the property and surrounding area.
Any contact with the owners was often above and beyond what was expected!
Nothing! It’s a fabulous place to stay

Where should I start , came into the room which is right on a busy high street, not good if you want to relax. At first glance I knew it wasn't the same as the picture , the open plan photo which I liked was taken up by a huge wardrobe across the whole bedroomspace , which left the bedroom side feeling very chlostophbic , curtains looked like they had seen better days. Marks up all the walls , tv is built into the wall but you can only see half as the wardrobe Is in the way , the curtains are thicker than the duvet.so was very cold at night , Pillows don't even talk about them (none existent, bed is very small ,tv remote didnt work so had to buy batteries 🙄, the noise levels at night were terrible very noisy banging doors as your right next to the front door , fridge had to be turned off at night as its very loud in the room , a blue light lit the whole room up at night , fire didn't work and that's was something we wanted for a focal point , hot tub area is very over looked so felt very on show shower didn't have hot water on our last morning so had to have a cold shower, and to be honest the shower wasn't the best , there is a hand held one but that got the whole bathroom wet as it has no screens , we also got a parking ticket as parking is a nightmare over all we would not recommend this apartment whatsoever ever as it truly was a waste of money did speak to them but got nect to nothing back , very disappointed 😞

Superbly located in Morpeth, parking available free of charge 5 mins walk away. Spotlessly clean and super friendly staff on our arrival.
The booking of the hot tub etc was very easy via the QR code and we really enjoyed this.
A superb base to enjoy Morpeth on foot with nice dog walks locally.
Pillows were not of a great standard compared to the rest of the fixtures (an easy fix).
Towels for hot tub would be useful.

The property is in a great location. The apartment was clean and tastefully decorated.
The option to book the sauna and hot tub was an added bonus and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Larger living space would have been preferable for eating.

The Apartment is very central and on a main road; this could be good or bad as at times it is busy and quite noisy but it is very convenient for shops, bars and restaurants. As a concept the apartment is good and well equipped but it could be better with a few simple things; it looks modern, albeit rather dark, it is a little different in layout from the photos having had a wall with storage added between the bed and sitting area and for a short self catering break there is a small kitchen, an enormous fridge/freezer, a modern rainforest shower, plenty of hot water and nice lighting in the bathroom. There is a feature fire but it wasn't working which has actually been mentioned in another previous review. You definitely need slippers with you as the flooring is hard - practical but a little cold! There is a hairdryer and a handy socket near a mirror which some places forget to provide. There are also USB points on the sockets near the bed. We didn't use the hot tub/spa so can't comment on that.
A few niggles, I guess it's a relatively new venture so I'm trying to be helpful here; it could just be so much better if the pillows and bedding were of a better quality - the pillows were foam, they provided no support and felt cheap, the bedding was polyester and also felt very cheap, I ended up with a stiff, sore neck and feeling very tired. There is a distracting bright blue light on the ceiling (I assume the Wifi?) which is irritating at night and an occasional flashing fire alarm. The towels were also rather thin. Poor quality of soft furnishings let the overall quality of the apartment down. The mugs had no handles and although trendy (from Ikea) are totally impractical for hot drinks. It was very difficult to open the blinds as the cords were up way to high and cord operated curtains may have been better as the curtains are actually very good quality but heavy and so difficult to close. The feature fire wasn't working and it would have been good to know this in advance as it was chilly on arrival and I spent nearly an hour trying to figure out why it didn't work before the host answered my question about this on Whatsapp. The one wall hot air heater was feeble and took absolutely ages to warm the room up. There is a towel rail in the bathroom but this wasn't very hot. The layout of Apartment 1 is different from the photo shown and now has a dividing wall between the bed and sitting area, with storage to one side of it. Although I can see why this has been done it means there is very little space to either side of the bed, which is on a raised plinth, so if you have any mobility issues this would be a struggle. Also there are no bedside shelves, so nowhere to put your glass of water or cuppa etc. a couple of little shelves would definitely be useful. Hopefully this is constructive criticism we did have a pleasant stay overall!

Location was central and although no parking there was free parking within a 5 minute walk to the apartment. Unloading depended on finding a space in the loading bay which was up the street a short way. Shops and good choice of restaurants nearby. Good location for touring.
We were in the ground floor apartment which faced the main street and was consequently quite noisy until later in the evening. This was exacerbated by a pedestrian crossing just outside the window, which 'dinged' when people pressed the button and crossed the road. TV provided streaming services but no terrestrial TV. There were some cooking facilities but little preparation space and no table to eat at. Whole apartment was painted black and whilst some may like that we found it rather oppressive. A window cleaning cherry picker parked outside the apartment on our last morning and started up at around 6.15. My husband went to speak to them and they moved up the road but we could have done without it.

Lovely property that’s been well furnished to good modern standards! Very local to shops, restaurants and some lovely walks. Clean apartment with great finishing touches such as a diffuser. Just what we needed for the weekend!
The fireplace wasn’t working but they are trying to get it fixed. The description doesn’t state anything about paying extra for the spa facilities and only in the policy bit but have asked for it to be put on the main description for future guests as it avoids any confusion. On the ground floor there is a lot of noise due to the main building door and the windows but didn’t bother us too much!
