Rose Cottage is a house consisting of a kitchen/diner with a range cooker with gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, TV, and seating for four guests, a utility with a washing machine, a sitting room with a wood-burning stove and TV, a conservatory, and a study. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a double with an en-suite WC. There is a bathroom with a freestanding bath, shower over, hand held shower, basin, and heated towel rail and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with furniture, bike storage, and roadside parking. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Within 0.4 miles you will find a shop, within 0.2 miles a pub and within 0.1 miles a river. 5 Jackson Terrace is a wonderful escape to Northumberland, whatever time of year. Town: The lovely market town of Morpeth is situated centrally in Northumberland and is an ideal base from which to reach the coast or countryside. Offering the remains of an historic castle, lovely parks, riverside walks, ancient architecture and churches and an old chantry with a bagpipe museum, Morpeth is also ideal for visiting surrounding attractions such as Druridge Bay to the east, with miles of golden sands, the vibrant city of Newcastle to the south, Alnwick to the north, with its castle and gardens and the National Trust's Wallington Hall to the west. There is also access to the Simonside and Cheviot Hills, with good walking amidst beautiful countryside.
