About the home

“Ella Phillip Island” is a beautifull coastal-styled brand new double-storey family home in Cowes just a comfortable walk from the beach and short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

A central hallway provides access to Bedroom 5, a dual access Bathroom (with shower & toilet), a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer) and internal access to the Double Garage. At the rear of the home is the huge open plan Kitchen (with butlers pantry with all mod cons) Dining/Living Room (with 70" smart TV) with bi-fold windows overlooking the pool area, and opening up to the Alfresco entertaining area.

Upstairs, a central hallway leads to Bedroom 2 (with BIR), Bedroom 3 & 4 (each with WIR), a Lounge Room (with 65" smart TV, games, books, etc), a Bathroom (with bath & shower), a separate Toilet and Bedroom 1, which features a large WIR and ensuite (with double shower, separate toilet and double vanity).

Outdoor Areas

The covered outdoor area (with plumbed gas BBQ and seating for 8) overlooks the fully enclosed rear yard with the incredible private electric-pump heated swimming pool (5m x 2.8m; 1.2-1.65m deep) that also includes a low smoke firepit (no firewood provided). The Double Garage (with internal access and small sized multi-table for fuzbol, table tennis, air hockey and billiards) has space for 1 car, with additional space for another car in the driveway.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespressi (Aldi) pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, air fryer, sandwish press, etc. plus a sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and gas cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There is ducted, zoned, heating & airconditioning system throughout the entire home, plus ceiling fans in Bedroom 1, 2 and the upstairs Lounge Room.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 10 beds, and 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 16 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Tri-bunk
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (Upstairs): Two sets of Single bunks and one Single bed mattress
Bedroom 5 (Downstairs): One Queen bed and one Queen sofa bed

Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.

We were all amazed with this house, it was stunning and so close to everything. The house has everything you need and was clean and organised. I will definitely consider staying here again

This property is absolutely stunning and beautifully styled, equipped with everything we needed. It can easily accommodate several groups, and the spacious, comfortable bedrooms were definitely a highlight. The kids loved the pool! The host was fantastic to communicate with before our stay and even left us a lovely welcoming gift. Highly recommend.
