“Paradise Point Cowes” is a delightful single-storey family and pet-friendly home in Cowes, just a short walk from the Cowes beach and a short drive to the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Enter via a central hallway that connects all five Bedrooms. At the front, Bedroom 1 features a WIR and private Ensuite (with double shower & toilet). Directly opposite is Bedroom 2 (with BIR), providing additional accommodation at the front of the home. Bedrooms 3, 4, and 5 (each with BIR) are positioned along the hallway and are serviced by the main bathroom (with shower & bath), plus a separate toilet. The fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer) is centrally located for added convenience.

The spacious open-plan kitchen (with WIP) overlooks the large Dining/Living area (with 55" smart TV, Coonara wood heater—some wood provided and pool table), perfect for entertaining and relaxing. The second living room flows from here and is a convenient space to spread out with a second TV and additional seating.

Outdoor Areas

The covered rear entertaining area is an inviting outdoor haven (with gas BBQ and comfortable seating for up to 10 people)—the perfect spot to unwind with family or friends.

This outdoor area overlooks a fully enclosed yard featuring a spa (above-ground), plunge pool (not heated, in ground), kids’ play equipment and a hot/cold water shower—ideal for rinsing off after beach days and providing safe, secure fun for children and pets alike. The home has a double Garage (with fold up table tennis table) accommodating up to 2 cars, plus space for an additional 2 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in the driveway, offering both convenience and peace of mind.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need to cook and entertain with ease. It features quality cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, a microwave, an Aldi pod coffee machine, a toaster, and a kettle. You’ll also enjoy the convenience of a double sink, two large fridges (both with freezers), a dishwasher, a spacious 900 mm electric oven, and a 5-burner gas cooktop—perfect for preparing meals for family and friends.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The main living room features a wall-mounted reverse cycle air conditioner and a Coonara wood heater (some wood provided to get you started). There are also some portable heaters and portable fans available for use in bedrooms. The rear covered patio includes a ceiling-mounted heater and there is a fantastic sunken fire pit in the rear yard too.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 13 beds plus a fold-out sofa bed, accommodating up to 19 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Double bed and two sets of Single Bunks
Bedroom 3: One Tri-bunk 
Bedroom 4: One Queen bed
Bedroom 5: One Double bed and one set of Single Bunks

Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.

There is a single fold-out futon-style sofa bed in the living area and a single mattress that can be used where required, each suitable for one adult or child.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies *

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
