About the home

"The Mansion" is a family friendly home in Cowes with entertaining board games, close to Seagrove Park with lots of space and childrens play equipment, and just around the corner from 'The Block'. Some of the many features of this home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Upstairs, the large main living area opens into the well appointed kitchen. There is access to the large second floor rear deck, the second laundry and a bathroom with toilet, basin and shower. The Master bedroom comes with BIR and large en-suite with double sink, bath and walk in shower. The second and third bedrooms are also on this floor.

Downstairs, there are three large bedrooms including one with its own ensuite and WIR. The other two bedrooms share a large main bathroom with bath, shower and a separate toilet. Also downstairs is the second living area, second kitchen and laundry.

The home has two Smart TV's that can be used to access your own Netflix or Stan accounts as well.

Outdoor Areas

The upstairs rear deck provides a sheltered place for outdoor meals. The downstairs rear deck leads out from the downstairs living area to the 8 seater spa, all under cover. There is a double garage with direct access inside the home (with a table tennis table/pool table, couches, sound system and lots of balls for children's games) plus a single car carport with under cover access to the rear and room for 2-3 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) on the driveway in front of the Garage. There is also street parking, please note street parking signs and ensure not to block neighbours' driveways. The outdoor area also features a fire pit (BYO wood please).

Across the road is the 2.7 acre Seagrove Park, with a family picnic area, electric Webber BBQ, swings, slides, undercover seating, plenty of open spaces for ball games, walking and bike riding paths.

Kitchens

The fully appointed upstairs kitchen is equipped with standard cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Breville Barista Express espresso machine coffee machine (BYO beans), toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, walk in pantry, large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and gas cook top. There is also a well appointed kitchen downstairs with its own oven, Nespresso coffee machine, gas cook top, dishwasher and fridge.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The entire home has ducted central heating and refridgerative cooling. There are also ceiling fans in the Master bedroom, bedroom 2 and the upstairs living area. The home has 6 mobile oil heaters (1 in each bedroom) as well.

Bedroom Configuration:

This home has 13 beds, plus 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 20 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Queen bed plus one set of Single bunks
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Queen bed plus one set of Single bunks
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 5 (Downstairs): Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 6 (Downstairs): One Queen bed

There is also a Double divan/sofa bed in the downstairs living room suitable for 2 adults or children.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.

Had fun with Family and friends in Phillip Island. Ideal place to spend time with a big group. It provides spaces for all age groups to spend time together as well as retire to own private areas for some me time too.!

A great layout for a large family/group. Pretty good position. Unfortunately the furniture etc is well used and not the brand new house as advertised. Very dusty and the couches were filthy. BBB also filthy. It took three days to get the spa fixed and received no return emails from manager. Outside unkept and needed gardening attention. This place just needs a little tlc and it would be great.
