Cowes Sunset Retreat

The house is so beautiful, very clean, very spacious and gave us a homey vibe that we loved. It had everything we needed and is exactly what was described in the booking guide. There is a tv area upstairs for the children to hang out or even if you want your own personal space there is a seating area in the main bedroom. The outdoor spa was everyones favourite, including a barbeque. Location was great, with a coffee shop directly across from the house which is a bonus. It is the perfect house for families/large groups getting together under the one roof with multiple rooms and even more beds. We cannot be greatful enough for the complemetary that was given to us. It was a 10/10 for us all, and we will definitely be coming back to stay again.

Our only complaint which is a personal preference is that the bed in the main room was too firm to sleep on. For others this might be just fine though.

Great location ,house was clean and accommodated 15 easily.

4 rolls toilet paper for 15 people. No laundry detergent or salt and pepper in kitchen provided.To use the microwave we had to move it from the shelf to the bench to plug it into the power. A power point in the shelf would overcome the need to pick up and move the microwave.

The size of the home was great, perfect for 10 people. We were happy with the location, close to the beach, a short drive to the Main Street and across the road to a cafe. Easy access to great coffee.

There were some areas of the property that was unclean, mainly in the bedroom cupboards, under the sofas, cutlery and plates, glassware had lipstick stains on the runs. There were left over toys in cupboards. The master bedroom was at the front of the property so unfortunately as a light sleeper, there were no sleep ins for me.

Location was great for access to the beach, catered for the size of our family.

A better equipped kitchen with enough wine glasses, food preparation equipment, eg chopping and bread knives, grater, mixing & serving bowls, etc to suit the number of people in the house would improve the stay. Only one Powerpoint to cater for all the kitchen equipment, including microwave oven on the tiny bench was difficult and dangerous.
