Huis was van tuinman chateau en is ruim en er is veel ruimte rondom. Het is er lekker stil en parkeren kan naast het huis. Je kunt vanuit het huis wandelen naar Arromanches langs rustige wegen. Van eigenaar hebben wij chateau van binnen mogen bekijken. Het is een prima uitvalsbasis om de vele bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving te bewonderen.
De eerste dagen hadden we geen wifi en 4g heeft er geen bereik. Dit is echt een groot nadeel! Volgens de verhuurorganisatie was er geen wifi beschikbaar, terwijl dit wel stond vernoemd op booking.com Na 3 dagen kwam eigenaar chateau en bleek wifi versterker in verkeerde stopcontact te zijn geplaatst, binnen paar minuten werkte het weer. Dit maakte het verblijf echt beter, want je kunt plannen maken voor de komende dagen.
