About this house rental
This cozy house was just built on 3-acres. This property has all modern appliances & everything you will need for cooking. There is a covered front porch that overlooks a garden & has a barbecue for a relaxing meal. The back of the property has a fire pit & table for roasting marshmallows. Two walking blocks away is the Botanical Gardens where you will experience vast gardens and spectacular views, and maybe see a pod of whales. The house has a private driveway and a code to get in.
The house is built on a 3-acre property. The front porch is covered, giving you a wonderful spot to drink coffee and watch the sunrise. The back of home has a fire pit, which is a wonderful place to roast marshmallows or to socialize around the fire. There is a playhouse for the children to enjoy and a beautiful garden to explore. Botanical Gardens and the ocean are two walking blocks away. The gardens are spectacular when wildflowers or dahlias are blossoming. Enjoy dramatic views of the ocean as you walk on the bluffs. You might even see a pod of whales or seals resting on the rocks. The house has a private driveway and a code to get in, so it is completely private. The trundle bed has two separate single beds, and the house is equipped with all the essentials.

There is a fenced in yard, however, all pets need to stay on a leash except for when in the fenced in area. Please be aware that there are cats that roam the property who we love dearly! All dogs need to be friendly, trained to use the bathroom outdoors, and not chew or damage any property. All waste needs to be disposed of in the reciprocals located out the back door.

I am pleased that we found this when we made a last-minute cancellation on our campsite reservations at MacKerricher State Park due to predicted rain two of the three days we had planned to camp. Several of the prior reviews had good additional information: the gas fireplace worked well to heat the unit, but it is not on a thermostat so we have to turn it on and off as needed. We brought our own coffee and dripper and carafe, which I am happy to use (instead of having Keurig pods). It was very clean. The shower was great and the bed was comfortable. It was a big plus to be able to stay there with our dog.There was a small fenced yard for the dog, which we used only a little because of the rain and the tall grass, the covered porch/deck was appreciated, since having shelter at the front door is welcome in the rain. and the whole stay felt very private and quiet.

Overall wonderful stay, loved the place! It was perfect for a getaway, close to town, great communication with the host, very clear instructions. Would stay again!

Perfect little getaway with my husband and dogs. Great enclosed area that was quite and large enough for the dogs to get some energy out. Location was great with being so close to hiking trails, botanical garden, and the downtown area. Definitely will rebook this place.
