Yuuki came out to find me on his red bike, I had gotten a bit lost so it was a big help. On the first day, he keeps his door open so he can answer any questions you have about the apartment. For room D1, he lives right next to it, so you just exit and turn left. Everything was laid out in a guide on the table with all the necessary amenities for my stay. Note that it seems to be the same guide for all the rooms, and each room has a slightly different set of appliances. Though the main operations for each type of appliance (washer, cooking top, etc) are the same. The guide has English, but seems to use a HongKong/Singaporean style of English which may be a bit unfamiliar to American English readers. The room is a bit on the older side with some after additions such as the shower head that is attached to the wash room faucet, but it feel like an addition to the atmosphere rather than a detraction. Unlike a lot of other places in Japan, the hot water mechanism is similar to that in America. You do not need to prepare the hot water, the faucet will have hot water already in it once it runs. Note, it might take a few seconds to get to the hot water and that the hot water IS VERY HOT. I did not need to turn the hot faucet very far to get the temperature I wanted in combination with the cold water faucet. The water pressure was very strong in the D1 room. I did not need to turn the faucet very far to get the pressure I needed. The WiFi was functional. It uses a Doccmo Cellular Home internet box, which means the internet connection fluctuates from fast to slow depending on cellular connection. It was anywhere from 1 to 180 Mbps down to 5 to 20 mbps up. More towards 180d/20u than the 1d/5u most of the time. While the walk from the station seems a bit far, after walking in Japan for a while, it really isn't all too far from the 41 bus line, Juso station, or the Nishinakajima-Minamigata Station.

I highly advise taking a photo of each remotes and using a translator like Deepl to get an idea of what each button does, since the guide might have a different remote than what is available to you. The guide does its best to layout the remotes in English, and many have English type or stickers on them, but not all remotes match the guide or have English text. There are three spelling mistakes in English on the Guide, you are meant to "sort the trash". The others I can't remember off the top of my head, but using context is it clear what you are meant to do, so not the end of the world. Not to mention, Yuuki is there to answer you questions if you have any on the first day. The wash room ceiling height is a bit small. I am 177 cm, 5 ft 10 in, and did not have much clearance to the ceiling. If you near or above 180 cm or 6 ft, you may be uncomfortable showering.
