Mila Apartments Friuli

The apartment was clean. The kitchen was well equipped — with coffee, tea, a bottle of water, cleaning supplies, and all necessary appliances. The apartment is close to the metro, in a fairly quiet neighborhood. There is a supermarket and a shopping center nearby, which also has reasonably priced parking (by Milan standards).

Unfortunately, the overall experience was spoiled by the registration system. After paying for the stay, you receive a link to the Mila Apartments website to complete registration. You need to upload a photo of your ID and provide details for all guests, then pay the city tax. After that, you're supposed to receive access details by email — including the apartment code — but nothing arrives. Instead, you keep receiving automated reminders to complete the registration, making it look like it didn’t go through, even though the payment was successful. The staff replies slowly in the chat. The WhatsApp contact forwards you to another person, who can only be reached by phone. Another issue: check-in is listed as available until 21:00, even though the system is supposedly set up for self check-in. We were told we’d be met in person because there were issues with the building's main door. Although we had booked the apartment from 3 PM, we only received the staff member’s phone number around 6 PM — when we were already on the road and unable to communicate easily. Thank you to Mr. David — he waited for us even though we arrived late due to traffic. But the whole process was quite stressful, which is not what you'd expect when booking via Booking.com. One suggestion to the management: if there's no real issue with the building door (Mr. David just showed us a code that worked fine), please consider switching to a proper self check-in system. Also: Wi-Fi did not work. The sofa is worn out and sinks in. A trash bin in the bathroom would be appreciated.
