We had a great stay at this property! It’s located in a quiet residential area in Otsuka, just a 5-minute walk from the JR station. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed here as a group of 4 girls. Upon arrival, it was a little challenging to carry our large suitcases to the property (it's a bit up the hill), but it became much easier once we could leave our luggage inside. The house was a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was sufficient for our needs, especially since we spent most of our time exploring other areas of Tokyo. There were 4 beds, which worked perfectly for our group, as each of us had our own bed. However, there wasn’t a common area where we could sit, relax, or get ready together. We ended up using the bedroom on the first floor as our shared space, which meant that the person sleeping in that room had to share the space with everyone else’s belongings. The bathroom was also quite small and had only a shower, with no bathtub. However, these minor inconveniences didn’t affect our overall experience too much. The location was very convenient for getting around Tokyo. Ikebukuro was just one JR stop away, and it was easy to travel to popular areas such as Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Harajuku. There were also plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets nearby, so everything we needed was within easy reach. Overall, I’d definitely recommend staying in the Otsuka area! It’s close enough to the main attractions to make sightseeing easy, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy a peaceful stay. If you’re looking for a quiet and convenient base for exploring Tokyo, Otsuka is a great choice!

It's near the train station (5 min walk), quiet, cozy, and enough to just have a place to bath and sleep.
