House - Sleeps 6 Hot-tub & Free Parking

The property was very clean and had everything needed for a weekend break. The hot tub was a lovely addition too.

The Hot Tub was lovely and warm and clean. The house had everything that it promised and that you would need for your stay. Its well priced for what you get, the hot tub being its biggest selling point The house looked like the photos so you pretty much know what your booking. You have everything you need for you stay to cook and eat with. Corner shop and chip shop literally a minutes walk away.

Communication was great right up until we needed instructions for the keys. Then it wasn't. The location of the key box mad accessing it extremely difficult and took us a good ten minutes to open it, plus the fact that there are two key boxes just to confuse you wasn't a good start. The front door is very difficult to open and sticks so that took a while to open. Once inside the property looks like the photos, but.....Were not sure that the host has actually stopped in and used the property for some time due the the small but numerous issues we found. The hallway, stairs and landing need repainting as its obvious that they have been patch painted. The living room has a light fitting for 2 bulbs but only has 1 bulb. This then flashes at random intervals and the shade has pieces missing from it. Its also very low and at 5' 10" I had to duck to avoid it. There is a CCTV camera in the living room window directly pointing at the Hot Tub which being only a few feet away is very disconcerting when your actually in it. The side of the smaller ches long didnt stay up as the retaining piece wasnt attached and was on the window cill. The bedroom door ( nearest the bathroom ) sticks and needs a good hard shove to open or close it. The same bedroom window handles are very loose and almost impossible to operate to open the window with one only partially attached. The bedroom slatted blinds dont close fully enough the keep the light out and there are no secondary blackout blinds There is no blind in the upstairs bathroom meaning that if you shower then you are visible from outside the property and especially at night with the light on. The property has and alleyway to the side and rear which we didnt feel was made clear before booking
