About this cottage rental
Surrounded by lovely countryside vistas, this stylish and sophisticated rural retreat is the perfect setting for an idyllic getaway with family and friends; the magnificent West Lancashire landscape awaits from the doorstep, surrounded by beautiful nature reserves. Enjoy a family fun day out at Windmill Animal Farm, 6.5 miles away, or spot the endangered red squirrel at Formby’s Red Squirrel Reserve, 22 miles away. Located in one of the northernmost parts of Sefton's beautiful 22-mile coastline, enjoy a traditional bucket and spade day at Southport Beach, 14.5 miles away. A short drive/walk away is a gallery, 0.7 miles away, offering craft shops, food hall, café and a small animal farm. Another lovely stop less than a mile away is a tea room with café, farm shop, wine merchant, local stalls and butchers. The local village of Parbold boasts numerous country pubs with roaring fires and guest ales, cafes and access to lovely canal walks and the local railway station to the nearest towns. There are golf courses close by including Birkdale, Hillside and Ormskirk.
