Abbey Farm House - Pet Friendly

Spacious, well presented and clean. Garden is great - bowling green and jacuzzi were highlights. Well stocked kitchen.

Hardly any soap. Was a small disk of soap in the welcome pack, which I think was intended to be split between the 3 toilets! There were basically no other toiletries provided. Ridiculous not to have basic hand soap in the bathrooms.

The location was great for us, not far to travel and the walk around the camp site was nice and the Liverpool Leeds canal.

The bird poop all over the back of the garden was a bit disgusting.

The beds were comfy, clean bedding. The camp site was quiet. It was a good size space for a large group to stay. Good size garden and a hot tub.

Ok, I was honestly surprised by the booking.com 9 star rating. Usually the ratings are pretty spot on. I would say this property is more a 7.5. The hot tub: hot in the morning, cold by the evenings. No soap in the toilets. No toilet roll holders. The downstairs toilet inside was out of order. Not enough mugs and plates for a house that sleeps this many people. The kitchen drawer under the hob was very dirty. The floors were dirty. I forgot my slippers, within 10 mins my socks were black. The place just felt like it needed a good deep clean. The bathrooms in particular have lots of water marks all over the white rock walls/ sink drawers. The main big bedroom has a locked door, presumably storage? This banged all night. The sitting room is fine, chairs and sofa are comfy, but some of us had to sit on the floor and not enough seats.
