Delicias Alicante Loft

Host was v helpful, with clear communication. He texted me a whole range of activities and things to do in the local area. Any questions I had, we're immediately answered. He was able to advise on exact shops where I could purchase specific things I needed, and even send me their address on maps.

The loft is best for solos or couples, as the bathroom is an en suite beside the bed, with just a light glass swing door which doesn't lock. Altho the bathroom is modern and high standard with a great shower. The actual loft is like an old retail unit (ex-juice bar maybe?) So there is no windows or sunlight throughout the property, the only light comes from the main glass front to what the business unit had, which is like a glass front straight onto the main street, and so is frosted with a privacy film. So this is just relevant info for those who may enjoy a window or terrace to sit at to get sunlight. This location does not have that;The loft is an internal building and does not have much natural light. But plenty of articifical lights and a good air conditioning system.

Location is fantastic. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and clean, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Shower power and water was amazing, the best I have ever encountered. And the gym, if one is inclined to exercise, is a luxury.

I guess the lack of natural light is a feature of many apartments in Spain, which tend to be long and narrow. This observation is not a complaint, just a personal comment. Having three keys is a bit of a nuisance; a color tag on each key would help, or alternatively, a digital pad with the same codes could be used. And yeah, the ramp at the door is a bit annoying (and I appreciate that it is for regulatory purposes). **Update:** After posting my original review, I discovered that my €250 refundable deposit had not been returned within the stated 7-day period after check-out. I checked out on 22 April and had to follow up myself on 20 May. I was told there had been a technical issue with the refund system, and I acknowledge that an apology was given for not informing me. However, guests should not have to chase a refundable deposit nearly a month after leaving. The apartment itself was good, but the handling of the deposit was disappointing and affected my overall impression.

Location. Great space for a single or couple. Enough equipment to manage few days visit.

There are no windows. You could feel secluded.
