Lovely relaxing weekend

Very lovely and cosy home with pretty decorations. Very clean and organised. Amazing location extremely close to the castle, shops and restaurants. Great WiFi, smart TV and easy to use thermostat for the heating.

Honestly nothing to complain about. Only issue was getting the keys out of the lock box but I’m pretty sure that was my own fault.

Nearly a 10…..highly recommend

Good location right near the castle in Caerphilly. Comfortable bed and pillows. God shower. Everything there that you could possibly need in the kitchen and bathroom. Off-road parking. Prompt and good communication with the owners. Lovely biscuits waiting for us.

Nothing really, apart from it could do with a little bit of care and attention in general and especially in the garden.

Excellent location, more seating needed

The beds were comfy and it was in a great location.

There wasn’t enough seating. The property caters for 5 but there were only four seats for the dining table and four in the living room which made it difficult to spend time to gather at the property. The inside of the oven was also a little dirty which put us off using it.

In need of redecorating and cleaning everything!

Location was okay, though on a main road, it is right by the castle and supermarkets were a short drive away

The house was shabby, the decoration very run down, stones outside leading to the back door broken. The house was very dirty. Not enough kitchen utensils for a family

Comfortable and spacious

Great location. Really friendly hosts. Plenty of space. Beds so comfortable! Nice touches such as chocolates and coffee pods. We have booked again already for later in the year!

Parking a bit tricky but we worked around it!

Definitely worth staying

The location was absolutely fantastic - right across the street from the castle and close to several restaurants. The house was clean, and had almost everything we needed.

The parking space was impossible for us to get into - make sure you have a small, but high car if you plan to use it. Also, some of the comforts (e.g. napkins) weren't provided.

Family trip to explore the Caerphilly/Cardiff area

The beds were incredibly comfy. Beautiful dining room and lounge too. The old documents related to the property on the stairs were an interesting touch. Brilliant base for exploring the local area.

The kettle would benefit from replacing as the current one looks like it has been in a fight, and the kitchen would also benefit from a new set of mugs. We had to park in the garage as the road was full, which wasn't an issue except it was confusing trying to work out, which was the correct one for the property. It would benefit from having the house number on the wall inside.
