Miss that it did not have a bath, but it did not effect the stay.

Good choice for our weekend

Location good. Spacious and comfortable house for 7, management team very helpful in sorting problems. Easy parking, good neighbourhood. There is a downstairs toilet which isn’t clear in the information but essential if lots of you staying!

No towels left for three of us- problem solved quickly even though after office hours on Friday. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a 3/4 size bed incorrectly listed as a double. No good if 8 staying. Cooker hob and grill/oven pans were filthy- needed to be cleaned before use. Bathrooms spotless but generally house needed a good clean - windows, ornaments, shelves etc dusty/dirty. Outside rubbish bin full and obviously hadn’t been emptied for some time. Drive area needed sweeping. Reported a drains problem- dishwasher water bubbled up in sink. Nowhere to hang clothes in three of the bedrooms.

Quiet, cosy and perfect for a larger family.

Lovely house in a quiet location. Double drive was perfect for two smaller cars and plenty of on street parking. Rooms all good sizes and bedding/towels clean. Very easy to access the property and hosts were very helpful! Very good price and only 9 minute drive from city centre.

Few of the kitchen accessories need replacing-minor detail.

Great opportunity for 4 friends to have their first 48 hour trip away, with plenty of communal space

Owner replied promptly to requests and very helpful on an earlier check in time. 4 bedrooms meant we had a room each Washing up/ dishwasher tablets appreciated Good towels and bedding Very spacious, say to use appliances and tv

Instructions for rubbish/ recycling are out of date in book, and quite a lot of rubbish is piled up along side of property. Top, front bedroom smells quite musty and irritated the throat of person who slept in there causing her to be congested and coughing. Hole in ceiling of front, downstairs bedroom. Sinks, shower, drains etc were quite smelly when we arrived, presumably from not being used for a while? Once being used the smell went.

Best place we’ve stayed in during our UK trip so far.

Nice quiet neighborhood. House is great. It was a comfortable stay. Large well-stocked kitchen. Private driveway. Good location. Just a short bus ride to the center of town.

There was no working freezer. There was a washing machine but nothing to hang clothes on to dry. They need fans in bedrooms for hot days.

the location and the responsiveness and kindness of the property management in dealing with the issues we found

the house was filthy, it clearly hadn't been cleaned and the facilities were wholly inadequate for the size of the party we were, we were left with broken items, missing essentials which had been described on the listing, leaks and other issues with damage and poor maintenance, limited access to the available storage due to the significant number of personal belongings and locked facilities. The only reason I am giving it a 6 is because Sarah and Sally from sea and salt the property management company dealing with things on behalf of the host were absolutely lovely, responded quickly to our concerns in relation to the cleaning issue and compensated us for our inconvenience, apologised for the issues we encountered and were flexible, kind and working to rectify the issues we raised so other people dont experience what we have.

Walking distance to city center. A lot of space in the house. Plenty of space in the refrigerator Good Wi-Fi No problem with hot water when four people showered in short time Easy to handle the security alarm Parking outside front door

Recommendation to the landlord: Change the table in the kitchen! Plenty of good equiment in the kitchen but I missed a colander when cooking pasta and a grater for the cheese.

The location was great. The facilities in the property were perfect. The drive accommodated for two cars.

Black bags were left on the side of the house by the previous people and they had not been cleared. There was dust under the bed, so could have done with a vacuum.

Great location for Cardiff city centre. Hosts were great with communication. Lots of room for everyone.

Most of the house was spotless but in the kitchen there was an open tin of tomatoes that had mold in it in the cupboard and smells coming from the cupboards

Cosy spacious accommodation. Really felt like home for a few days. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and very spacious. We could easily fit two cars on the driveway.

One bathroom for six people required some planning in the morning. Dining area was a little cramped for six people.

Spacious and comfortable living space for relaxing and eating with family. Good parking. Comfortable beds. Useful ground floor toilet. Easy access to property. Well situated for driving around Cardiff.

An accurate address and postcode to ‘ Melrose Gardens, Melrose Avenue’ would have avoided initial confusion but helpful neighbour reassured us we were in the right place! Some additional small cereal bowls, a tea pot, extra tea towel and J cloth would have been useful.

We will be back!

Lovely house, very clean and easy to get keys ect, nicely decorated with everything you needed (a freezer would be useful). Patio are was lovely and clean and as the the weather was so nice a table and chairs to sit out would have been good, but I appreciate it was early in the year with unusually warm weather. I would definitely stay here again.
