Uncomfortable

The town centre being a very short walk a way was great.

This was an uncomfortable stay for us. We had agreed to stay as it was only for one night , but we wouldn't stay again. The street is unfortunatley a bit run down and the front door to the property didn't close properly as the door had been booted in. The hallway leading to the flat was unclean and unwelcoming and made us feel uneasy. There was a doorbell camera on the flat door so the owners could see when we were coming in and out, felt a bit uneasy. The flat itself was a decent size, but was not clean at all. It was tidy, ( needs allot of upkeep) but it seemed like nothing had been wiped clean and the floors were sticky. The provided dish sponge was old and grotty. The dirt along the stairs and furniture made us uncomfortable. The bed sheets were stained, the duvet inside the bed covers were stained and the towels and sheets smelt like chip fat which was just really not nice. We stayed as little as possible there.

Would have liked a handrail on the staircase. This is personal preference as a member of my party has mobility issues and struggled without a rail for support.

Great location, very comfortable apartment

Location is very good. 15 minutes of strolling gets you into the heart of Cardiff where there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops. Very close to the Cardiff castle and the sports stadium. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen big enough to self cater if that is a preference. Apartment clean and tidy.

Parking isn't the best - street parking; and even then 2 hour limit during the day. We didn't mind - we intended doing day trips (eg past Swansea) so it was good for us. Also, we're on a 5 week trip around the UK so have large bags. There are stairs, so be warned if you've bad knees or have mobility issues. We're 60+ and managed easily enough. Finally, we love a dark, quiet room to sleep in. There is a street light just outside the window which only had blinds, no curtains. This meant a lot of light all night long. That aside, if we were to come back to Cardiff, we would definitely consider staying here again.

A lot of street noise in the bedroom. Blinds but no curtains at window so street lighting was shining in. Super uncomfy mattress.

Flat em perfeito estado, espaçoso e com preço justo. Tudo estava funcionando perfeitamente, a localização achei tranquila pq é bem próximo ao centro da cidade. Definitivamente Voltarei a me hospedar aqui.

De locatie. Je loopt zo naar het stadion, kasteel en het centrum in. Goed te parkeren. En met 2 stellen fijn dat je ruimte hebt om samen te relaxen in huiskamer.
