Mukam at Kanak Vilas, Jaipur

Our family vacation at Mukam at Kanak Vilas was absolutely unforgettable. Staying in this beautifully restored 1940s haveli brought back an incredible wave of nostalgia for me. The traditional architectural layout is exactly like my grandparents' house from my childhood days, which instantly enhanced the entire experience and made it feel deeply personal.Our children loved playing in the peaceful inner courtyard where peacocks often visit, while the adults relaxed on the rooftop terrace. The staff treated us like family, and the fresh, home-cooked meals completed the warm, welcoming atmosphere. It is a serene oasis hidden away from the city's hustle, and the perfect heritage stay for families visiting the Pink City

My only recommendation for the property would be to introduce a welcome drink for guests during check-in, which would be a lovely touch after traveling in the Jaipur heat. Overall, it is a fantastic, authentic place to stay with your family!

The staff were so lovely, welcoming and professional. They were very kind every day. Breakfast was very well priced and came quickly. The hotel was so beautiful and was such a nice escape from the busy city. Beautiful interiors and textiles. Very comfy and big beds and super peaceful location. Puppies were also outside which added to our stay a lot and we were very sad to say goodbye.
