Just the best place to stay in Jaipur, don't even look anywhere else. The hotel is cosy, the building is incredible, the room is just exactly as shown in the picture, the food is amazing and home made full veg. This place is, in short, a total gem. I am so happy I could stay there, it felt like a dream. The owners are adorable and they'll make your stay a perfect one. I can't wait to go back!!! Thank you Jaipur!
Nothing, everything was just on top.

We loved our stay at Jaipur Haveli. It’s an absolutely beautiful property and the rooms are dreamy. It’s in a good location to get to some of the main sites and there are lots of great places to eat.
Vikram and his family live in the haveli and the vibe is very welcoming and relaxed. Everyone is very kind and helpful. Everything is possible you just need to ask Vikram!

Other places might be called havelis but it’s Jaipur Haveli that really is one. Although located at the heart of the Pink City, its distance from the main road makes it peaceful, and they have designed spaces to be comfortable. I had a perfect stay there; Vikram and the rest were truly great hosts. If I ever go back to Jaipur, I would time the trip based on availability of a room here. A perfectly charming structure with all the comforts one needs—including good people.
I liked everything.

Jaipur Haveli is truly an hidden gem. It's location couldn't be better, in the historic old town, right near the City Palace and Hawa Mahal. When you walk out to the main road, you're immediately surrounded by bazaar stalls and the amber buildings of the "Pink City." The Jaipur Haveli itself absolutely beautiful, and you can really feel the history of this old family home that was converted partially into a hotel—it feels like you're stepping back in time. The architecture and decor is top notch. On top of that, the service of the family who owns it and the staff was phenomenal. They are super friendly, welcoming, and willing to help out with anything, including booking drivers for day trips or transfers. The complimentary hot or continental breakfast was delicious and seemed like a traditional home cooked meal. The lunches and dinners can be added at a cost, but are cheap, around $5 I believe. We only had one dinner at the hotel, but it was also delicious and freshly cooked.
To get to the property from the main road, you have to go through some alleyways. They didn't seem particularly dangerous, but were pretty dirty (normal for India standards), and at some times of day, there were some stray dogs hanging around and barking. None of them paid us too much attention, but if you're afraid of dogs, it could be difficult. Also, the room isn't very sound proof, as the windows don't have a seal, so you can hear the dogs barking in the morning.

It was perfect! The family that runs the hotel is amazing and kind people. We had long chats in which I discovered a lot about them and their culture. We had dinner every day at their restaurant. The food is so flavorful and well-cooked! Have no words to say how much we liked. The room was comfortable, clean and bright.
You need to know what you are booking for. The room was comfortable, but simpler than a hotel. Be mindful that it's a guest house.

We had an amazing stay in a 300 year old property. Very central location, tucked away behind the main shopping district. Vikram and his team go above and beyond. The views from the roof terrace are stunning and it’s a great place to watch people kite flying. Highly recommended.
We couldn’t stay longer.

Jaipur Haveli is a beautiful family home that you can stay in and we felt very comfortable and welcome and enjoyed the best Rajasthani hospitality. Staying here was a highlight of our Rajasthani adventure. If you do choose tostay here make sure you book their evening meal.

Jaipur Haveli is a fantastic 300 year old building and the family who run it have been there for the last 100! Their hospitality and warmth was outstanding, the veg food was delicious, and we arrived in the run up to the kite festival which was hugely entertaining - many people of rooftops flying kites. This was our first stop on our current visit to India and it was a great place to start - such a welcoming place. Jaipur is vibrant, colourful, and exciting. The amber fort is well worth the excursion. There is a great place for lunch just round the corner from the Haveli, called Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar (LMB). Jaipur Haveli is highly recommended. Thank you Vikram and family.

Staying at Jaipur Haveli was an absolute highlight of our trip. This beautiful old-city-mansion-turned-B&B is spotless, full of thoughtful details, and genuinely feels like a home rather than a hotel.
The haveli is family-run, and you feel that immediately. Vikram and his dad Praveen are incredibly warm, humble, and welcoming hosts. They're always helpful, always present, but never pushy. Their family history as court jewelers to the Maharaja of Jaipur adds a fascinating layer of authenticity, and the house itself has a rich story. Vikram even hosts guest lectures for students on the architecture of the mansion, which dates back to 1744, and this really shows the pride and care that goes into preserving it.
Dinner is another highlight: delicious, home-style family meals, great conversations, and a wonderful atmosphere around the table. It felt more like being welcomed into a family than dining out.
The location couldn't be better—right in the heart of the Pink City, with everything within walking distance. They even design their own walking tours, which are a great way to explore Jaipur at a relaxed pace.
If you need something further afield, the haveli can sort you out with reliable drivers at very reasonable rates. We'd like to say a big thank you to Soni for showing us around Amber Fort and his village so thoughtfully in his "helicopter". 🛺
If you're after a place with history, heart and genuine hospitality – and not just somewhere to sleep – Jaipur Haveli is really special. We’ll come back in a heartbeat. 🫶

We had an incredible experience at Jaipur Haveli - and if I am ever back in Jaipur, there is no place I would rather stay.
The hosts are a family and incredibly welcoming and helpful. It was fun speaking with them over meals. Speaking of which, the food (for breakfast and dinner) was incredibly tasty and fresh!
The building is kept as it was historically with beautiful paintings on the walls, and the aesthetic is amazing. Our room was on the top floor and we also enjoyed the seating areas placed throughout!
The haveli is located very close to Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace - and Johari Bazar is right nearby.
Also, we went on a roadtrip to Pushkar and took a day booking for a rickshaw around Jaipur from the haveli-recommended drivers (under Sonu), which was very convenient.
Thank you for hosting us!

The people and family who worked there were so lovely and welcoming. Our room was lovely and the whole building is historical and amazing to look at. The location was easy to walk to some tourist spots, and we could also book a tuk tuk to some further away places.

Hot water did take a while to get going, but eventually would kick in after a good wait after switching on

The building can easily be a museum. The owner and his dad are so friendly and helpful. All in all beautiful stay
Well...there are some dogs outside that have a concert session during night time, and I struggled to sleep even with earplugs in at times.

Our stay at Jaipur Haveli was a highlight of our trip to India. We stayed for 3 nights and it was such a sanctuary. The accommodation itself is stunning: beautifully decorated and crafted within the Haveli that is hundreds of years old and 100 years in the family. The rooftop and front garden are lovely places to chill out. We were two people but stayed in a room for 3 as it was the only one left to book and I would highly recommend this. I've seen comments in other reviews that the rooms are smaller - not the case for us, for the additional (small) cost, it is worth it if you have a lot of luggage. We had dinner there each night which is delicious, and you will not walk away hungry! The best part however, are the family and staff who run the B&B - Vikram, Praveen and Shubhi make you feel part of the family. Majit also served us breakfast and dinner each day and was lovely. There are a couple of tuk tuk drivers that work with the B&B, Raja Rabbani took us around Jaipur to see some sights and helped arrange a transfer to the airport and was great - he was friendly and provided some great tips/knowledge as we drove around. It is located within the busy 'pink market' area so expect it to be busy outside the accommodation but this is neither seen or heard once you're in the B&B. It is very centrally located and you can walk to some key sights. Overall, I highly recommend Jaipur Haveli and will send my friends and family there when they're in Jaipur! Thank you for the lovely stay.

This was a beautiful place to stay. In the heart of old Jaipur, this haveli is preserved and loved by a family who have lived there for generations. The family's quarters are separate from the many rooms they have for guests, each different and lovely. The family and staff were extremely helpful and interesting. They provided delicious meals. We will most definately stay again.
Nothing that we didn't like

Great atmosphere in a historic building. Very helpful and friendly owners. Little bit hidden in a back alley but surprisingly quiet giving the short distance to the Bazar. Close to many sights. Dinner and breakfast are very tasty and highly recommended.

The owners have still maintained the archaic rajasthan style. Lovely home like ambience with optional food made to order. Two cute puppies; Milo and Snow adding to the atmosphere. Very attentive staff.
Slightly difficult access to the property from main road.

Jaipur Haveli is one of the authentic period houses that you can stay in and experience the authentic hospitality and authentic food. We enjoyed our stay and also our occasional conversation with the owner (Vikram). Vikram and family will make sure that your stay is memorable. They make a lot of effort in maintaining the property with the original decorations. We also enjoyed the Breakfast and the authentic dinner they provided.
Nothing I can think of.

Great location, charming building, lovely hosts. Friendly dogs! I highly recommend staying in this beautiful, historic haveli! I loved it.
The haveli doesn’t really have main road access, and it’s very cozy. This would be concern if one had a ton of luggage.

I loved Jaipur Haveli so much - the pictures really don't do the property justice - it is beautiful and the rooms are so comfortable and cute. Vikram and his family are lovely, and look after their guests so well. I arrived late at night and he followed my Uber ride to meet me at the main road to make sure I got to the house safely.
Breakfast was great too and it truly feels like a home away from home. The location is amazing - you are staying in the thick of things but the house offers a little oasis in the business of the shopping streets. They also have a nice driver, Raja, on standby who can take you around town.
Oh and for those who need it - great wifi and aircon in the rooms!
Nothing - would come back any time I am in Jaipur!

The location was great. Inside the pink city but very quiet and easy to find.Breakfast was ample. It was lovely being able to meet and interact with a family in there very old heritage home.
They had a problem getting the hot water fixed but not a major due to heat of the days. Thought the dinner was a little bit expensive.

This place exceeded my expectations. It's a charming haven that is tucked away in the lanes behind the hustle and bustle of Johari Bazaar. The building itself gives the feeling of travelling back in time, and it is impressive how well it has been maintainef. Staff are welcoming and and attentive without being intrusive. Vikram and his wife Shubi are a wonderful.hosts who are also very helpful with local advice and services.
Highly recommend.
Can't honestly say there was anything i didn't like.

Beautiful Haveli, very traditional. The staff was very friendly, even the tuktuk driver. The place was very silent at night. They had great quality things on sale inside, like hats and wallets. The staff cooked a home-made meal for us and it was delicious.
The entrance to the property is a little hidden behind the streets.

Such a beautiful property! Full of history and beautiful frescoes artifacts. The rooms just perfect for our family and very comfortable. Very hospitable owner and staff who helped us out with everything from early morning coffee to advice for dining, to arranging train tickets. Now auto driver as well, Mr Raja, who helped us get around.
Nothing! Would have stayed longer if we could.

Beautiful historic building in the heart of old Jaipur. It was a peaceful oasis from the chaotic streets.
There are very few restaurants in the immediate neighborhood, so not the best if you want to go out for dinner.

Very little to be honest except the host who was amenable and his family and pets.
You could see and imagine how this house might have been in its heyday but it is now rather rundown and needs a great deal spent on it.
Location at the end of filthy streets and dogs barking all night…. appreciate this is outside the control of the owners but clients should be aware. Dirty dining area downstairs. Bedroom and bedding just about clean enough if a little worn. Bathroom also just about acceptable but no hot water as far as we could ascertain. Older family member sleeping downstairs in full view. Overpriced for the standards and quality. Very poor dinner badly presented and not, in my view, freshly cooked. Photographs of property make the place look much better than it actually is. I thought this place would be low key, charming and authentic but it was just rather grubby in reality. Owners need to improve standards.

Our stay at Hotel Jaipur Haveli was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The family running the hotel is absolutely delightful: kind, polite, very attentive, and genuinely honest people. They made us feel at home from the very first moment, always willing to help with a warm smile.
The food was another highlight: delicious, authentic dishes prepared with great care, all at a very reasonable price. Every meal was a treat for the taste buds and a true reflection of local hospitality.
The rooms were impeccably clean and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. It’s definitely a place where you feel safe, welcome, and well taken care of in every detail.
I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Jaipur Haveli to anyone visiting Jaipur who is looking for an authentic, warm experience with excellent value for money.
The location is also very good, right in the heart of the Pink City. You need to walk through a few small alleys to reach the hotel (less than 5 minutes), and while those streets are not particularly clean, that is completely normal for the area.

My brother wanted to stay in the Haveli. Interesting building but access. Very poor. Not for the faint hearted. The way to the hotel from the Main street is very dirty. This is true India. Staff was nice but a bit too backpack life for our tastes.
Low season, not many people staying there, so the room did not seem to be lived in for a few days or weeks. Access was very rough. Prepared to be an old Jaipur.

Wonderful Haveli. We were well looked after by Vikram, his father and others.
We don’t usually eat where we stay but enjoyed the breakfast (included) as well as lunch and dinners. Each meal was different and delicious.
Rooms are full of character and comfortable. Kettle a bonus. I had my best 2 nights sleep in 3 weeks of India travel. It’s not directly accessible by tuk tuk but it’s only a short walk.

Beautiful 300 year old haveli. The family who own it and live there and their staff were lovely and so welcoming. The fresh homemade food at breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious.
