Location and practicality of it

Tea bags had obviously been there a while and were discoloured when opened to use, also marks on the bedding but otherwise very clean and comfortable, wouldnt let that put me off staying again

Very nice room, easy to find and pretty quiet at night. I parked in Booths, the supermarket that was right next to the flat as overnight parking was free from 7 pm until 8 am in the morning. Only cost me £2.70 to stay in until 11 am. Christian was a great help in finding the property, with some useful tips about where to eat that evening and for breakfast.

Two small things would’ve been really helpful to have a laminated sheet left somewhere useful which gave both the network and the Wi-Fi code I was sent the password but didn’t know which network to join (unless that was somewhere I didn’t see ). I was very tired - so trying three different possibilities didn’t appeal at that point. Neither did trying to sit on the toilet seat that didn’t fit the bowl. A heads up that there is a step down when you first come into the flat would’ve helped me too Other than that, really great apartment, spotlessly clean.

Ideal place for a short stay. Good location in a quiet alley just off the high street. Easy to find and enter. Clean and comfortable.

Very convenient for all Kendal town centre shops ( including Booths supermarket), restaurants, cafes, etc: especially the various venues of the Kendal Mountain Festival. Christian was a helpful host. The property was cleanly presented and the heating system very efficient, once I mastered the electronic thermostat!

We were surprised that there was virtually no cooking equipment, other than a kettle, small fridge, and two mugs.
