The place was absolutely perfect, genuinely clean, cozy, great quiet location, there's beautiful hill views from the bedroom upstairs.
Shower room is small, but very modern and with layout that accommodates everything, lit mirror, and the shower itself is glorious. Water pressure is not very high, but sufficient.
This is the first time where Netflix is genuinely included, meaning you don't need to login with your personal details, you can just switch on the tv and there's a Netflix account already logged in for the property, this is really convenient.
Liked the small touches like a plastic tray for wet/dirty boots, the instruction manual, and the Kendal mint cake.
The bed is pretty good, a spring mattress that's very bouncy, I'd say medium firmness.
Didn't notice stains or hairs on the bedding which is excellent.
Location is good, 5 minute walk from high street, 2 minute walk from Booths grocery store (quite pricey/posh) loads of takeaway restaurants nearby. The road is like a dead-end for cars so you don't get much traffic noise at all.
The property is up a little hill but if you come to the Lake District, don't expect flat streets and be prepared for walking up hill.
Overall I'd 100% recommend and can only wish other properties were as good as this, clean, honest and presented as described.
Little sofa downstairs I must say is a little bit uncomfortable especially for taller people as you get no leg support.
It would be great if there were small lights on either side of the bed, so if one person want to stay up a bit later, they can, however it's definitely not a big issue.
I would also add the staircase inside is very narrow and a little steep so this is definitely not the place for anyone with any mobility impairment, given the bathroom and bed are upstairs.

Location was amazing, it was very clean and well maintained. Very quiet location which was perfect, stones throw from the town centre. Communication was spot on. Will definitely stay again 😄
