About this house rental
5 minute walk to the beach, Parking Pass and Key to private Hither Hills beach (M15 closest) are you ready!? Step out back through the double sliders and get your grill on. Dine al fresco on the teak dining set or pop out to the front deck and settle into a pair of low slung adirondack chairs, margaritas in hand to watch the sunset. Inside, the upside-down floor plan makes the entertaining easy -- upstairs you'll find a light-filled open space with gourmet kitchen, farmhouse dining table and chill-worthy living room with the biggest sectional ever plus a powder room. Downstairs has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths (MBR with en suite bath - Queen; Bedroom 2 - Queen with desk area; Bedroom 3- Full; Bedroom 4 - 1 Twin over Full bunk bed and 1 Twin over Twin bunk bunk bed) . Outside the privet hedge enclosed front yard is perfect for bocci, croquet, stomp rockets or a wiffle ball extravaganza. Wireless, HDTV in the living room, full central AC, towels, linens and basic pantry items included. There is extra space on a rainy day in the unfinished (but unscary) basement, that also has W/D . The house is super cute, clean, well-maintained and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and then some. We arrived to a 6 pack of Montauk Ale and Milk in the fridge for us. It made us want to take extra good care of the house. The owner was responsive and helpful.
Location was really good: 7 minute walk to beach or 20 mins to town by beach. We hope to rent it again next summer!

This home lacks nothing! Beach chairs, towels, paper towels, etc. My family and I stayed for a week and we are so happy to have returned to this home. Access to the private beach is great and it was just a 5 minute walk away! Thank you so much, we will definitely be returning for year 3!

This home was everything we hoped for and more. Spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need to feel the comforts of home. The bedrooms are large, the kitchen is very well equipped for real cooking and there is plenty of room for family dining. Even beach towels and chairs were provided so we didn’t have to schlep all that stuff with us! The indoor space is perfect for family and private adult time and the outdoor space is beautiful. Close to everything--beaches, bays, shops, supermarket and restaurants--this property offered convenience while also being private and tranquil. The homeowner answered all of our questions and was very professional and friendly.

As soon as we walked in we felt so comfortable and welcome in the home. The house was extremely clean with extra sheets, towels, and beach accessories! We had access to the private beach and the directions were easy to follow. The living area is welcoming and my whole family was able to sit on the couch and watch tv or play a game. The kitchen was the best part of the house. The open layout allowed for us to cook and interact socially. There was no tool or spice that wasn’t available to us in the kitchen. There were literally no complaints! The only thing we would suggest is access to more garbage cans (a family of 6 makes a lot of garbage in 7 days and two cans were not enough to fill). Also parking was limited but we managed! It was a beautiful week in Montauk and we enjoyed it even more thanks to Melanie and Matt’s beautiful home. Thank you so much!
