This house feels so much bigger than the pictures suggest! I was worried we would feel cramped, but instead it truly felt like home during our stay. The hosts were kind enough to leave anything we might need during our time there (even a bag of ice in the freezer—such a nice touch!). The check out instructions were clear and easy.
I had visited the area before, so I knew before I booked the place that it would be a bit of a drive to Palo Duro Canyon. But for someone unfamiliar to the area, it is important to know that you're looking at a 30 minute drive to the state park. We preferred this location though because it was close to restaurants, a Walmart, Cadillac Ranch, and Route 66. We weren't looking for a "rustic" stay, so it was perfect for us.
