About this house rental

Charming 1-story historic Tudor style 1920's home near famous 6th Street (Rt 66). Short drive to medical district, downtown, the Civic Center, and the Cadillac Ranch. Tons of local restaurants for dining and a scenic 30 minute drive to Palo Duro Canyon State Park. 2 minute walk to Sam Houston park and playground.

This is an older property, but very well maintained and very charming. The kitchen was very large. If we had wanted to cook it would have been terrific! It was handy that one bedroom led directly outside since we brought our little dog. Very handy for him. The area if town was just perfect for getting around to the places we needed to go, and the neighborhood felt very safe. The master bath was fine, but the hall bath that serviced two bedrooms was very tiny. Understandable in a house that age, but a little challenging. No counter space made grooming a bit difficult. But overall, we would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay and the house was clean and fully stocked and had everything needed to feel at home. Also enjoyed the public park a block away for a nice walk. The host was great in communicating and we would recommend this place.
