Great staff and stylish hotel, but the noise from the street and hallway made the stay disappointing

I would like to highlight the staff, who were very polite, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They made us feel welcome and were professional throughout our stay. The hotel itself has a great vibe, the decor is modern, unique, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. Overall, the atmosphere and aesthetic are impressive.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the room itself, specifically the soundproofing, or rather, the lack of it. Our room was facing the main street, and despite what appear to be soundproofing claims, there was no effective noise insulation. We could hear traffic constantly, day and night. It genuinely felt like the windows offered no sound protection at all. On top of that, the room's door was not soundproof either. We could clearly hear people talking and walking in the hallway, which made it very difficult to relax or get proper rest.

Really nice hotel, but not always available parking

The hotel is designed in aesthetically perfect pleasant way. The rooms are exceptionally well soundproofed, ensuring a quiet and comfortable stay. Each room is equipped with a high-quality Marshall speaker, adding a nice touch to the experience. Room service is available and perfect for morning coffees or afternoon cocktails. Each room has a terrace. The staff is really friendly, kind and helpful.

The hotel advertises parking, but in practice this is misleading. The hotel does not have its own parking facility and instead relies on a nearby private parking garage. We were traveling during New Year’s Eve and were never informed that a parking reservation was required in advance. Even worse, some of our friends had confirmed reservations, yet there were still no available parking spaces when we arrived. This resulted in us having to drive around the city searching for parking, which is extremely frustrating—especially in Thessaloniki during a busy holiday period. It is unacceptable that parking is presented as available when, in reality, even a reservation does not guarantee a spot.

The hotel was very nice… it was located in a very central place and the whole hotel was decorated very uniquely.. the staff was very friendly and happy. Bonus… the coffee was really good

Not my kind of place!

The location was perfect, an easy walk to most of Thessaloniki's historical sites and surrounded by restaurants, one of which we found particularly good. The hotel (or it may have been Booking.com) had a taxi pick us up at the airport free of charge. The staff were pleasant and welcoming but not very competent, I'm afraid.

The style of the hotel, which had only recently opened, was extraordinary. The walls of what had been an elegant old building had been scraped down to the bare (tatty) plaster, which actually reminded me of a concentration camp I had once visited. It was all rather depressing. All of the fitments were designer but very much form over function. Everything seemed too awkward or difficult to use. The bed was too large for the room, meaning we had to sidle round it and there was no storage. The lack of space also meant that what served as bedside tables were about 15 cms in diameter and too tiny to serve any practical purpose. The small, inefficient bathroom was in a rather intimidating metal box in the bedroom and that was again redolent of some war-time institution.

Such a great experience staying at Hipsters Hotel. The rooms and decor as so cool & chic. Staff are very attentive, helpful & super pleasant to deal with. Special shout out to Gabriel who did his extreme to get us into our room earlier than specified check in time. Fantastic location also!

What a wonderful stay at Summer House Nikiti. I was personally welcomed by the lovely owners with coffee in the cozy lobby – a warm and thoughtful touch. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. The location is perfect: close to the center and main beaches, yet peacefully quiet and surrounded by unspoiled nature. I especially appreciated the private sunbeds and umbrella on a serene little beach. As a farewell, I even received a thoughtful gift that truly reflects Greek hospitality and culture. Absolutely recommend this place to future guests!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hipster Hotel in Thessaloniki! The location is perfect – right in the heart of the city with some of the best recommended Greek restaurants just around the corner. The rooms are beautiful, stylish, and very clean – you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. The overall vibe of the hotel is super trendy and welcoming. What really sets this place apart is the staff – incredibly friendly and helpful! They go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience possible, offering great local tips and even helping with transport advice. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back

Very friendly and polite staff, the room was small but clean and spacious enough for one person. The location was perfect for a weekend in the city center with many bars and cafés around the corner.

...severe bullying, harrassment on social media and threats to professional e-mail by the hotel owner to one of our group members, in the attempt to achieve positive reviews. Absolutely shocking and unacceptable. We can only recommend to avoid this place and hope that booking.com will take action!

Θα πω ότι ήταν σίγουρα μια πάρα πολύ ωραία εμπειρία, πρωτότυπη και σίγουρα ενδιαφέρουσα! Σίγουρα θα ξαναπάω!

Λατρέψαμε τα πάντα όσον αφορά το ξενοδοχείο. Την αισθητική, το «vibe» του κάθε χώρου, το πόσο φρέσκο και clean είναι. Είναι πραγματικά πανέμορφο και το industrial κομμάτι του μας κέρδισε πραγματικά!! Το δωμάτιο και αυτό πανέμορφο, άνετο και σίγουρα είναι value for money. Τέλος, όλοι στο staff ήταν φιλόξενοι, ευγενικοί, χαμογελαστοί, ευδιάθετοι. Εγώ είχα περισσότερη «τριβή» με τον κύριο Γκινάρη καθώς εκείνος με υποδέχτηκε και υπήρξε άκρως βοηθητικός, με χιούμορ και καλή διάθεση.

Δεν υπάρχει κάτι που να μην μας άρεσε!

Μας άρεσε πολύ το πόσο εξυπηρετικό ήταν το προσωπικό. Ήταν πολύ μεγάλο κ άνετο το δωμάτιο με πολλές παροχές. Ήταν φανταστικό το σημείο που βρισκόταν το ξενοδοχείο.

Το μόνο άβολο ήταν ότι το διπλό κρεβάτι ακουμπούσε στον τοίχο κ ήταν δύσκολο για το ένα άτομο να σηκωθεί.
