Location especially since it was raining a lot and the Metro was under renovation.

I am confident the owner who is a resident. There is a non-smoker like myself, but there was a lot of smoking in the bathroom during the night time and you were greeted by that in the morning it’s shower time. They were cigarette packs sitting on the stairs and this was uncomfortable and I didn’t like it.

COULD BE BETTER

The location was good.

No kitchen, no microwave, lots of stairs as the reception & rooms start on the second floor. It’s an old, mostly smelling building. However the rooms are nice and the beds decent & restrooms are nice with very nice showers.

Amazingly great place. Best option in Thessaloniki you could imagine

Wow, what a place. Central location but quiet in the rooms at night. Everything you need and all major attractions are in walking distance. Old building with spacious rooms and high ceiling. Fast WiFi, big community shared fridge. I arrived early in the morning, hours before official check in but I go my room and bed immediately. Host is an interesting guy with a lot of knowledge and life experience. Staff is so helpful. Open minded atmosphere, easy to get in contact with other guests. Next time in Thessaloniki I will definately stay there again

Female owner was an excellent communicator and very helpful with some excellent recommendations and advice. Location of hostel was perfect. Room size good.

Bathroom ran out of toilet paper, wifi was sporadic - but ok (just). If you had a washing machine, we would have rebooked.

The Host does not respond to messages or engage in dialogue. The object confirmed the reservation, knowing full well that it would not be occupied at night. The object refused to resolve the issue over the phone and sent it to Booking's technical support. Booking, in turn, sent it to the object.

For one night for a few hours was ok

centrally located, near bars and restaurants, low price and next to the metro station

very basic, bathroom without ventilation and with motion detector lights that would turn off every now and then, no hot water, no hooks for towels, noise from bars outside, (no elevator with a lot of stairs -for people that need to know this info)

Convenient location and fair price. Host was very helpful. Overall the place met my expectations.

The place was seemingly clean but it didn't feel comfortable in this sense. The room was not ventilated well, the cabinet stank and there was no hanger in the shower.

A comfortable hostel with a good location. Recommend!

Nice, helpful staff; big, comfortable beds; very good air conditioning; huge, very clean bathrooms. The location of the hostel is relatively good, on a 15-20 min. walking distance from the Main railway station/Main bus station and the very heart of the city. A super vibrant neighborhood, with a lot of bars and restaurants.

The staff must check more often the availability of toilet paper in the bathrooms. With a few exceptions, the buildings in the neighborhood where the hostel is located are extremely ugly in terms of appearance. This, however, does not apply to the bars and shops that are located inside.

It was clean and a nice place to sleep, not a nice place to store pizza.

It was clean, I liked the bed layout and the rooms were mostly quiet and stayed cool.

This is not really the hostels fault but I put some left over pizza in the fridge. I then left the hostel for no more than an hour. When I came back I was ready for another slice. Some little piggy decided that they were going to steal two slices of my pizza while I was gone, leaving me with one slice. It was my understanding that if something in a communal refrigerator was not mine, it is not mine to take. The pizza thief waited for me to leave and must’ve ran straight to the fridge as soon as I left to begin their illegal indulgence in what was not theirs to take. I return to the hostel to find an empty kitchen and everyone conveniently asleep in their rooms.

Super luxurious hostel with comfy big beds and a lot of space, nice monumental renovations, lovely hostess, good location in the center, private spacious bathrooms, rooftop terrace, good air-conditioning..

Some small basic things were missing such as hooks to hang stuff like clothing/towels/toiletry bags in the bathroom and dorm. Bathroom light goes off quite fast when sitting on the toilet, and it's hard to get it back on again..

Favourite Hostel in Town with a Great Host

The hostel is super well located and the host was so kind and friendly and welcoming! I suddenly felt safe and at home. He even made breakfast for free the next day :)! The rooms are super clean and big. I stayed in a room with 2 other women and it was very relaxed.

(Complaining on a high level) i missed a place where I could lock away my belongings. But for a short stay that was totally no problem at all.

We stayed on a Saturday night, and realized the hostel is directly above a club. It was extremely noisy all night until 6 am.
