DESCRIPTION:
Large residence that can accommodate up to 16 people. 10 minutes from Old Quebec, near Montmorency Falls, Île d’Orléans and Baie de Beauport. You will appreciate its privacy and the proximity of several neighborhood businesses such as pharmacy, grocery store, convenience store and liquor store.
The kitchen is equipped with 2 refrigerators, conventional oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, cooking equipment and dishes. A table that can accommodate up to 6 people is also there (additional folding chairs available). A second side table and additional chairs are also at your disposal. The rooms have a wardrobe and some of them have a work desk. Access to play structures in the schoolyard behind the house is permitted until 8:00 p.m.
At the corner of Rue Labelle and Avenue Royale, just a two-minute walk away, you will find a convenience store offering a wide choice of beers from micro-breweries. You will also find here the excellent butcher shop “La Boucherie Bélanger”. During the summer season, don't forget to visit the neighboring business, "Chocolat Royal", a chocolate shop offering succulent ice creams.
In addition, at the corner of rue des Cascades and Avenue Royale, there is an "IGA" grocery store and an "SAQ" liquor store. A “PHARMAPRIX” pharmacy is located a little further on at the corner of rue du Temple and Avenue Royale.
Near a major network of cycle paths along the St. Lawrence River and crossing the city. In particular, the Littoral Corridor extends over 48 km between Montmorency Falls and Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures. Other points of interest: less than 20 minutes from Le Relais ski center, 25 minutes from the majestic Sainte-Anne-De-Beaupré basilica and 35 minutes from the renowned Mont Sainte-Anne ski center.

We loved staying at La Vielle Maison. The location was perfect for visiting the city, the falls, and Saint Anne de Beaupre. The house accommodates many people and the bedrooms are still spacious. The entryway is great for leaving lots of shoes and there are extra chairs and table in the closet for additional dining. The shower had great water pressure. The only thing that the house needs more of is forks (some of us used spoons for salad!) A wonderful visit all around.

The stay was as expected.. the rooms were clean.. the sofa was a bit old.. the kitchen was little small for 8 bedroom house.. Not enough dining place.. these are areas of improvement.. Overall experience was good..
