Cheap and cheerful, functioning kitchen and washer.
Its a 20min walk to ikebukuro station which sounds fine and doable but when you’re doing 20k+ steps around Tokyo along with shopping, it can get very exhausting getting back to the apartment. We often ended up getting an uber back. Room was also smaller

The property is a pretty solid choice for a 19 day stay, especially with the kitchenette and the laundry machine and the laundry pole in the bathroom. It’s also pretty secure with requiring a key to enter the building and enter the room. I also like that it’s in Ikebukuro, my favorite area in all of Tokyo.
The insulation in the building isn’t great, but as long as you have the heating/cooling system on you’ll be fine. It’s also quite a walk from Ikebukuro station, but you can take a bus to and from the station and that’ll make it like a 7 minute walk. I do think it’s a bit cramped in there but all Japanese apartments are like that tbh and the furniture was easy to move around.
