Absolutely Distressing and Dehumanizing Experience – Avoid at All Costs
This was by far the most distressing and disappointing experience I’ve ever had with a rental. What was supposed to be a peaceful holiday quickly turned into a nightmare due to the host’s utter negligence and lack of basic human decency. The next day after arriving, a serious incident occurred where the glass shower door shattered, injuring my child. Instead of showing any concern or responsibility, the host immediately accused us of breaking it, suggesting that we were somehow trying to get a refund by putting our child at risk. That kind of accusation is not only offensive—it's deeply upsetting. No parent would ever endanger their own child, especially over money. The implication is beyond insulting. We were promised someone would come to clean up the dangerous broken glass—no one ever came. After that, the host stopped responding altogether, leaving us to deal with the aftermath in a completely unsafe environment. The lack of communication, support, or even basic decency was shocking. This situation completely ruined our holiday. Instead of enjoying our time, we were left dealing with a traumatic injury, no help from the host, and absolutely no accountability. The cold, dismissive attitude we received turned what should have been a relaxing break into a distressing ordeal. I would strongly advise anyone considering this rental to think twice. If anything goes wrong, do not expect compassion, support, or even a response. What we experienced was not just poor service—it was a dehumanizing experience that I would not wish on anyone.
