White Hill Lodge Hakuba

It was convenient to the echo land area in Hakuba and the room was very cozy.

No breakfast, and the walls are a little thin but that’s ok.

White Hill Lodge was perfectly located for us, round the corner from Central Sports ski hire and a short walk from the HV shuttle. We loved being close to the restaurants and bars and within walking distance of Happo-One Apres. Staff were lovely, friendly and responsive to messages upon our arrival. Usage of the dry room was helpful and our room had everything we needed, including shampoo and conditioner which was an added bonus! Room could get a little hot at times with the underfloor heating, but on the whole it was lovely to warm up after a cold day on the slopes.

It was helpful having a bathroom but the toilet was impractical in such a small space. We ended up using it as a shower room only and just using the shared toilets instead because the “en-suite” floor never got dry and there was not enough space to shut the door.

Close to amenities

No sink in kitchen - communal area cold long walk to bus. No hot water one day

Close to restaraunts and bars

Tiny room and shoilet that wouldn’t drain properly. Poor insulation. Could hear other guests using the bathroom and snoring in the building.
