Snow Star Lodge is a beautiful, updated ski condo located on Crested Butte Mountain. Recently renovated, it is perfectly perched to capture the expansive and breathtaking mountain vistas from large windows and a living room balcony. The on-mountain location is ideal for a secluded getaway and offers direct hiking, biking, wildflower viewing, and ski access to the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Skiing couldn't be easier! Cozy yet spacious, this is an exquisite retreat for 1-2 families or a group of friends.
Please note that this condo is located on the top floor (hence the views!) so be prepared for stairs. This spacious rental comfortably sleeps 10 guests in three beautifully decorated bedrooms, laid out over two floors. Boasting a cozy living room setup, vaulted ceilings, and large windows overlooking the valley, this alpine chalet has it all. Cooks will love the stocked kitchen and open floorplan to the living space.
Snow Star lodge is located walking distance from the FREE mountain shuttle route for a ten-minute ride into town, or a two-minute ride to base lodge. You can also just ski down the back road to base lodge, and ski directly back to the condo. Your Colorado adventure awaits!

Very nice condo, well furnished. Need a couple more folding chairs as playing games with 7 people in living room around coffee table is difficult and only four bar stools around kitchen island (condo sleeps 10 and we had 7). The stairs (up to the condo) could use some repair as climbing them is difficult enough with bags etc (we knew in advance) but some of the steps need work as do the handrails. However we had a great time and were very comfortable. Condo is spotlessly clean.

Very Nice updated condo with all the essentials included. The description in the listing about the steps up to access the unit is legit, so pay attention. The flip side to the trip up is you can also walk up a separate flight of steps to a short walk across a parking lot to ski/ride right down to the lift! Great place.

We loved the home and it fit well for our large extended family trip. Beds were comfortable, amazing views and well equipped kitchen and comfy super large sofa. Skiers should be aware of a couple things, although listed as ski in, it should have an asterisk, as our group had a range of advanced and beginner skiers, and the run to somewhat ski in was difficult for the beginners, and out of the way of the rest of the mountain so not quick for a lunch stopover. The listing mentions 3rd floor so you expect some stairs, but doesn't mention 2 flights up from parking lot to get to the building, and 3 flights from the unit to get to the street to walk another 100 yards to get to the actual mountain. Then a blue style short run to get to a lift to take you up a bit to then ski over to the main lifts. Again a bit challenging for beginners, doable but time consuming and a lot of steps carrying skies. Overall very enjoyable, we had a fantastic trip and very much enjoyed this home, but just be aware of what you are getting into with the ski-in. We would stay there again and would recommend it.

We loved the condo - very spacious, good view and great location where you could ski in and out (with a short walk). The only downside is the stairs. We had to take multiple trips up and down with bags/skiis/groceries and man was it exhausting. Just keep that in mind when booking!
