Feel your stress melt away as you take in the majestic mountains surrounding our edge of town retreat in the quaint old mining town of Crested Butte!
Our location is ideally situated just steps away from world-class hiking, biking and Nordic trails and only four blocks away from the popular West-Elk retail/restaurant district. The shuttle stop is a short walk away with free service to Mt. Crested Butte.
This house was purchased in the Summer of 2013. In September 2013 we installed new Bosch appliances in the kitchen. We also have 4-5 bicycles for you to enjoy the town and weather and to take in the sights.
The bedrooms sleep 10: The large downstairs master has a king, a private bath and an adjoining sun room with indoor hot tub. Main floor has two bedrooms: #1 has a queen with room for a pack-n-play (which we have for your use if needed). Bedroom #2 is a small bunk room. It has a twin over full bunk w/twin trundle. Upstairs is a large bedroom w/ a queen bed and lots of floor space for sleeping bags, air mattress, etc.
The views from the kitchen and living room windows are magnificent and the location is one of the best in town! This house is at the West end of Butte Avenue which is a relatively quiet and secluded spot, even during peak season. You are literally only yards away from Nordic ski trails, hiking and biking trails. Although the location is nice and quiet, you are still only a few blocks from the 'bustling' downtown of Crested Butte! The locals feel that the NW portion of Crested Butte, specifically including Butte Ave, is probably the most desirable place to be in town, and you will see why after staying here for a few days.

Great location on edge of town in quiet neighborhood. Only a short walk to Elk Ave and bus stop. House has plenty of space for our family of 6. We look forward to coming back in the future.

This is was our second time to stay at this house. The house is clean and everything works as designed. It’s close enough to Elk Avenue that you can walk to town and the bus stop to head up to the mountain. We will always be more than okay with staying here again. This is our second time so there’s proof that we thoroughly enjoy staying here.

Location was good. Ran out of hot water upstairs after 3 showers. Layout of the house was difficult for a 4 bedroom with 3 bedrooms effectively sharing 1 bathroom which is also the bathroom for the main floor. The hot tub was over treated with chemicals, unusable for most of our crew. Beds were old and uncomfortable.
