"Hello and welcome" to "Holiday Residenz I" on Borkum. Enjoy a relaxing vacation with us! Our cozy vacation rental, “Seelenbalsam,” is ideal for vacations with up to four people.
As the name suggests, a stay in this cozy accommodations are balm for the soul! Light colors and modern furnishings give the vacation rental a very friendly atmosphere, while nautical accents provide that authentic North Sea feel.
You’ll find a spacious living area with an integrated kitchenette and dining table, as well as a separate bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. In the comfortable couch area with a TV and stereo system, you can relax, watch TV, listen to music, or read after a day at the beach or a bike ride. Free Wi-Fi is available for browsing on your smartphone.
Or you can let your mind wander while breathing in the refreshing North Sea air: On the covered balcony with a beautiful view of the horse paddock, pure relaxation is guaranteed—a wonderful vacation feeling!
The separate bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and hypoallergenic bedding. A TV invites you to enjoy a cozy evening watching TV from the comfort of your bed. The sleeper sofa in the living room (1.40 m wide) can accommodate one adult or two small children. A crib is a standard feature of the family-friendly “Seelenbalsam” vacation rental.
A culinary treat is also balm for the soul! In the modern kitchenette, you can quickly and easily prepare your favorite meals. It features, among other things, a 3-burner stove, an oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher, as well as various small appliances.

The “Holiday Residenz I” offers the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. For leisure activities, the building features a ping-pong table and a playroom with a playhouse, mats, and a small slide.
The vacation apartments are located in the “Holiday Residenz I” complex. It’s centrally located on Richthofenstraße, yet quiet and not right in the heart of town. In the town center itself (800 m away), small shops, cafés, and restaurants invite you to take a leisurely stroll. After 1.5 km (a 6-minute bike ride), you’ll reach the beautiful sandy beach and the boardwalk. From the complex, you can enjoy wonderful, relaxing walks and bike rides through Borkum’s natural surroundings.
From the ferry, the narrow-gauge train runs all the way to the town center. From there, the apartments are still about 950 m away. Upon your arrival, taxis will be available to take you and your luggage to your vacation rental. The complex is easily accessible by car and offers parking spaces for cars and bicycles right in front of the building. In front of the complex is the Nabrotzky Island Bakery—perfect for fresh breakfast rolls. Free e-bike charging stations are available for vacation guests in the garage next to the bakery.
