The “Auerhahn” vacation rental is situated in a quiet location yet right in the heart of Borkum Island, very close to the Old Lighthouse.
Whether it’s the town center, the beach promenade, the swimming pool, the South Beach, or the Youth Beach—everything is about 1–1.5 km away and can be easily reached with a relaxing walk or by bike. Fresh rolls for a delicious breakfast can be quickly picked up at the bakery on the premises.
The location of this spacious vacation rental is an ideal starting point for leisurely bike rides. Whether you’re heading toward Ostland, the harbor, through the Greune Stee, or wherever the wind and weather take you, the “Blanke Fenne” house on Borkum is perfectly situated. The popular restaurant “Upholmhof Borkum” is within walking distance and offers a place to stop for coffee and cake or a delicious lunch or dinner.
Our “Auerhahn” vacation rental measures approximately 64 m² and is located on the first floor / raised first floor of the two-story building in the “Moby Dick” apartment complex.
The apartment features two living/bedroom areas:
The separate bedroom in the vacation apartment on Borkum has a double bed, and a crib can be added upon request.
The living room features two full-size fold-out beds that are very easy to set up when needed, as well as a dining area. You’ll also find two comfortable armchairs and a sofa that can be converted into a comfortable sleeper sofa with minimal effort when needed.
The modern, spacious kitchen (equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster, among other things) also has room for another dining table. In addition to cooking for yourself, you can enjoy the culinary offerings of the nearby restaurants in Borkum’s town center or along the promenade—with a stunning sunset as the perfect ending to your dinner.
Enjoy the wonderfully fresh North Sea air on the balcony of your Borkum vacation rental! From here, you can let your gaze wander far across the pastures.
Additional amenities for your comfort and relaxation include a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, a radio, a CD player, and free Wi-Fi.

If you’re arriving by car, a parking space is available right next to the house. Bicycle storage is also available. The vacation rental is located in the blue zone, where vehicles are not permitted between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM. If you’re arriving by public transportation, the “Campingplatz” bus stop is 400 m away, and the vacation rental is easily accessible from there.
Our “Auerhahn” vacation rental meets the ***-star classification criteria of the German Tourism Association. It is furnished to be allergy-friendly. For this reason, smoking is not permitted in the vacation rental. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the vacation rental.
