A warning about the shower pressure as pressure caused it to spray over top of the shower and all over the floor!

A nice change from the beach to float above the bush and hear the rushing water

It’s such a unique stay with the stunning view out over the bush and waterfall. The decor is prefect. There is everything you need. And you are giving a lot of privacy. I stayed with my Mum, but it would be perfect for a romantic getaway. The way the whole room opens up and you can hear the rushing of the water is so special.

Most amazing to have the waterfall just below the accommodation. So you can sit out and enjoy the view and the sounds. Accommodation is comfortable and has all you need .

Magical placde to stay

Such an amazing magical setting. Sitting area above the flowing waterfalls was relaxing and mesmerizing. The entire feel of the place was extremely comfortable and inviting. Loved it, Loved it. Loved it. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer to read the eclectic collection of books.

A wonderful space to relax

The views were stunning and you could only hear the waterfall and the birds. The room was beautifully designed, spacious, and had everything we needed. Super comfortable bed too

The owners where a lovely couple. The property was quite retro and quirky which we liked

For a peaceful, relaxing break to the sound of a waterfall. What more could you want!

What a stunning, private getaway this is! The most comfortable, snuggly bed, a welcoming & beautifully decorated space, tidy and practical with all you need. The sound of the waterfall just out the door, (can just be seen from bed) is a magical background to a relaxing stay. Just out of Matakana, with plenty of activities and hospitality venues. Will absolutely be returning. Thank you.

There is a hot plate and a microwave, but with such great hospitality close by, basic cooking facilities was not an issue.

Lovely peaceful property in a good area. Had a good sleep in a comfy bed. Rustic, homely and very cozy.

I could hear the rain splattering outside as there is a gap under the front door. Maybe a new blind/curtain needed for the front door too?
