Very convenient, across road from beach, and the same to the shopping centre.

bed was comfortable, ensuite adequate. Kitchen had all the basic necessities. Great for price.

The sofa was old and although covered it had 2 hollows where folk sit. Had to sit on a cushion on it to make it comfortable. The surrounding garden was tired and had weeds.

The check in was very easy with the key safe code emailed just prior to arrival The location was excellent being walking distance to shops and restaurants. The Room was clean and comfortable.

The table and chairs outside were completely rusted and dirty. It was impossible to sit on them without getting dirt and rust on ones clothes. It would have been helpful to have a tea towel for the kitchen facilities. Perhaps a staff member forgot to leave one?

Perfection in Orewa.

We loved the location. Perfect. The place was beyond clean. Fabulous for a tired motel. Well done lovely cleaners. You were wonderful. The hot water temperature was rather high. The kitchen hot tap difficult to turn off. Over all, we loved it very much, and will stay there again when up that way.

Great town and beach. I know it is a very old building but PLEASE a little maintenance does wonders.

The location was perfect, right near beach, shops, takeaways and restaurants. The cleaners were very good although the language barrier made it hard to communicate with them.

There a quite a few things that need attention. It would be nice to have a 2nd key so tenants could come and go without having to leave key in lockbox which was awkward for some to open. The windows and security stays need lubricating and adjusting to make them open and shut more easily, as do the doors. The front door jambs at the bottom. The table on the deck is too small for six persons to sit around comfortably. The bath is very slippery and needs a rubber mat to stand on. There a very few towel rails for six people. A long rope clothesline is needed outside to hang towels and clothes outside to dry. The light in the fridge does not work and the kitchen is quite hard to see inside even with the ceiling lights on. The most important think is the faucet in the kitchen. It needs attaching to the bench more securely. It is stiff hard to turn form hot to cold and the whole tap turns around and slips under the overhead shelf. To turn it back you need to hold it with a towel as it is so hot to hold with bare hands and is a safety issue. Being an ex-builder I could have fixed most if I had my tools with me. However, we did have a very ENJOYABLE time.

The location was ideal. Parking outside room. Almost everything we needed was supplied.

The wifi wasn’t too good. Reception of tv not clear, too hot for only one fan. Shower pressure not good enough. The kitchen accessories need new things- it was musty.

Great spot, beds comfortable and clean. Good quality tea and coffee, but no hot chocolate provided and I had a child with me. Good communication from booking service but info incorrect.

Two of the sliding doors were very hard to move. It was extremely hot and no air con. There was a great fan in the bedroom but it was still too hot to sleep. We had to leave windows and a door open. Safe area so leaving a door open was OK, but not ideal. Booking company did not give us the room number and the security code for lock box was wrong. However, the owners answered quickly when I rang. No onsite staff available.

It was in a great position close to shops.

We had not been given room number or key lock number by 3pm, had to text and ask.Thread bare carpet. A couch with springs gone and hard to sit on. No air con. Tiny patio looking out on long grass full of weeds.bed barely fit room left me sleeping as if I was in the closet with no door and right next to the ironing board.

Location is right in the middle of Orewa and right on the beach, with it being in the 30km zone, is quiet and little road noise which is a bonus. you can walk to everything easily and very central.

Beautiful little autonomous motel

Beautiful wooden room, very clean, and a lovely host that I didn't meet but she made the whole process clear and simple

That I didn't find this place sooner. Much better value for money and Orewa is such a quiet and comfortable place to spend the day. The wifi needs some tweaking and the host took the feedback well.

Overall, tired, musty and in need of a good deal of repairs.

Location was wonderful, great to have our 18 staff group all stay at the same location in the units. Clean bedding and towels.

Cleanliness. Repairs that hadn't being done. Toilet that needed a bucket of water to complete the flush. Smell in the units were musty, wet and unpleasant. Window hardware was broken, rubber around window was missing in places so we had to put tissue in to stop window pane banging in the wind.
