About this cottage rental

We live on a working Deer farm, Eric's cottage is one of the two cottages on the 120 acre property, it is very private and peaceful and the first time for us to share our sanctuary. We are only 35 minutes to Auckland city, and 10min to Silverdale shopping center. From late November our hinds (female) are giving birth to new fawns. And from March through to May is the Roar (mating season) so the boys can be very noisy. There is a gated entrance and the cottage is 200m from the road, with a garage.
We are 15 minutes from Orewa Beach or Waiwera Beach.

About this cottage rental

Absolutely blown away with cottage. The space makes you feel like you’ve arrived in the woods. Very clean , nice linen, good kitchen equipment and the shower was a dream after our long drive . Loved seeing the deer. Jennifer was very welcoming and we appreciated the walk through at arrival, wonderful hostess 💓 We’ll return again!

We stayed for 3 nights in Erics cottage, and it was such a beautiful place for our family to chill out for a long weekend! Hosts were so friendly, met us at the property for check in and were contactable throughout our stay if required. Comfy beds and furnishings - everything you need to feel right at home. The deer out in the paddocks around the house were a big hit with the kids who had fun watching them from the deck. We would love to come back in the near future :)
