My elderly Mum & I love everything about this property. Such a cosy & inviting home away from home, which is why we keep coming back. Location fab, easy parking and very quiet.

Lovely stay, pleasant time overall.

The house layout and the amenities provided were great...could have used a little more sugar for the coffee, but overall a lovely place. My little one didn't want to leave.

Not really that I didn't like, just observations. It would have been nice if there had been a pathway from the residences to the beach without walking up to the street, however I doubt that is within the control of the owners. Nor is the tui bird that started up each morning at about 530am...lol. Oh yeah, maybe instructions for idiots like me on the oven, coffee maker and the other thing that was next to the coffee maker that I wasn't quite sure what it was. I did get there in the end, except for the thing next to the coffee maker

Excellent layout of accomodation everything you need. The hosts have put a lot of consideration and provided so many thoughtful touches throughout the property which made our trip so much smoother

Very small detail. 2nd bedroom and bathroom door hinges were squeaky. with noise sensitive baby and toddler sleeping I did look around in case there was CRC somewhere. But this is a mum anxiety issue not really a negative.

Fabulous apartment & beautiful beach

Very close to the beach. My children and I walked along the beach every morning. The apartment got everything we needed for. The facility is nearly new and clean. We really enjoyed it while we were there.

Well equipped apartment with everything you need including breakfast cereal and muffins which was a nice touch. Easy walking distance to the beach and shops. Good secure off street parking.

Fabulous, so relaxing with everything thought of, the information booklet was right on point too!

The location is great, we only stayed 2 nights, the weather wasn't conducive to our usual beach walks & we had arranged other outings this time anyway, so not a biggie personally. Just a fantastically well thought out ("think of everything") apartment, we loved it, the usual, we wished we could stay longer!! Obviously we will be back to De La Plage - thank you.

We own our own similar investment apartment at Mount Maunganui so when we say we couldn't fault it that is high praise indeed! "If" there was a tiny negative it was to do with part of the "common" area where the first time we left the compound with our vehicle the right-hand gate appeared to not open "quite" as far as it should, but once we bedded our departure experiences in we were fine with the gate & leaving.

A lovely modern vibe, a very warm welcome and a comfortable unit for the 3 of us staying.

I was communicating with our Host re late arrival time etc and had very warm and prompt responses. The unit was very appealing in its decor - near the beach. Couches, cushions, crockery, magazines etc felt very welcoming. We were en route to Whangarei, so had one night and an early start but the unit would have served us very well for a longer stay. It was very generous having some Breakfast supplies and juice etc available Thankyou.

I think a topper on the bed would make for a softer sleep on the double bed but Mum was very comfy in her single apparently.

Noticed a lot of dust (my son has allergies) eg bedside lamps and top of head boards of beds etc and there was hair on the bedside table and in one of the single beds and the carpet was messy when we arrived. I did a quick vacuum cos my kids left crumbs everywhere
