Only one shallow pillow was uncomfortable. Cooked breakfast is extra.

We enjoyed the breakfast very much. Also the evening meal,a very generous portion!

Not being able to hang my towel ready for when I needed it. A ready hook would be handy but it’s not the end of the world!

Pub in a convenient location and plenty of parking. Room nicely presented and basic toiletries provided. Nice coffee bags, tea bags and milk replenished daily. Owners friendly.

It was disappointing to find that although breakfast was included according to Booking.com you had to pay if you wanted anything cooked and the selection was otherwise limited. This needs to be made clear at the booking stage. Some of the pub seating is really stained which is a bit off-putting. Whilst room was serviced daily biscuits were only provided on day one which seemed a bit mean! We stayed during hot weather and so unfortunately it was really noisy with the traffic passing directly outside the open windows. And given the heat maybe a sheet could be provided as an alternative to a duvet. Maybe more pillows too - though maybe we could have had extra had we asked.
