We picked the spot for a reason, and so for us it was great to be this close to the beach. It's further away from downtown, but it's a nice area in itself that is more real, and there's nothing to complain about there. A really nice couple of gyms nearby, some food places, and the tram is a short walk away + bike rentals are right outside.

Mainly, what soured the experience was just how generally dirty the floors were everywhere. The mop bucket was there and left in the bathroom, but truly, it was not used much. We spent well over an hour sweeping and mopping up all of the floors, and it was a pretty big pile of dust/hair/general dirt. It's one of those things that seems like it should have been done. On the flip side, there was a washer in the room, so we were able to wash our dirty socks after learning this. Another note would be maybe get a bigger bed, as it is a full-size, and can be a bit tiny for couples. A tiny other thing was that the batteries in the remotes were dead, though we just bought some from the nearby store. I think overlooking cleanliness is the only thing that knocked it down from a 9 out of 10.

The size of the apartment, the apartment was ready even earlier than expected and good support during check in.

Lack of support when we asked for assistance due to a blocked drainage in the shower that made it very difficult taking a shower without messing up the bathroom, after being reported we have been told that someone would have come to check and sort it out but no assistance came in 7 days of our staying, that made difficult taking a shower and a bit stressful due to all the towels getting used mainly to dry up the bathroom from all the over flowing of the water. For the price paid it's a bit shameful to not get any assistance about it.
