Would avoid staying in this flat or local area
Some small snack items left by host. Boiler/heating was easy to operate.
Flat was located next to a fast food shop and front door had graffiti all over it with window next to door smashed. On entering the building, litter and cigarette ends everywhere and handrail hanging off the wall. Random holes in walls and electric sockets hanging off. Several locks on door to flat, only one worked, the rest were broken.
Bed in bedroom 1 was so soft it did not keep shape, and offered no support at all, could not sleep on it. Severe burn marks in kitchen. Bathroom cabinet was rickety and unsafe, toilet roll holder had fallen off the wall. Lounge lacked any privacy as blinds were broken. Place was dark and claustrophobic. Really bad noise from upstairs neighbours and children which continued despite complaints to owner who said they would sort.
Indeed the whole place felt unsafe. Balcony overlooked wasteland which had several beaten up cars and all kinds of rubbish on it. Outside access to balcony possible from roof next door, and it looked as if someone had tried to force access. In the middle of the night gangs of youths outside being boisterous and rowdy. Did not manage to sleep at all.
Someone thumped on the flat door in the middle of the night which was terrifying. We felt so unsafe, we left first thing the next morning. Had been communicating with owner who said he would authorise a refund via booking.com but this never happened. Booking.com stated they were unable to refund, and that the owner had refused.

A nice stay in general at a good location. It was just annoying about the bathroom tap not draining.
The apartment was really nice and very spacious.
The bathroom tap has a problem with the drainage. So we had to wash our hands and brush our teeth in the kitchen sink. I did message the property twice about it, but it was ignored.

Modern clean apartment, shame about the communal entrance& stairs
Shame about the entrance & stairs, but then you get into a nice, clean, modern apartment with a couple of nice touches, tray with some snacks on it, shower gels etc. Heading took some working out, then the place became very cosy, very quick.
