Great location. A/C & small outdoor deck off 3rd level. Easy walk to many restaurants, old town & cable car. Steps away is Plaza Madeira with grocery, pharmacy & other shops. Property equipped with the essentials & then some, works well for two people. Good communication & recommendations from owner.
A bit quirky with steep flights of narrow stairs (caution to anyone with mobility issues) Living room sofa could be improved.

The apartment was fantastic, great location, quiet, but very close to everything. There was a fabulous welcome package of goodies, and Lucy, the host is the most welcoming and helpful host we've ever had. Nothing was too much trouble. Our trip was elevated from great to absolutely superb by staying here. We've only returned today, but are planning our next trip to Funchal and Casa Laurinda already.
