Little Brick Cottage

The house is really cute and an excellent position if you want to be out of the city and close to a nice neighbourhood with a lovely cafe directly opposite and a groovy grocer right next door. Architecturally the house is beautifully fitted out and tastefully done and they have made the most of the tiny size of the property. Overall a pleasant stay: clean, comfy beds, nice sunlight in the morning.

The downsides are: - the Street noise is extremely loud and can be heard right through the house morning, day and night and early morning truck deliveries next door at 6am - There was a Street lamp that comes on that shines right into the bedroom at night - No full length mirrors for outfit checks. - There are no doors on any of the bedrooms (no privacy) - The upstairs room is a share room which is fine for kids but not a second couple. - There are not enough seats in the living room for 4 adults to comfortably sit and no TV or microwave. - Parking is stressful as the time Limits are strict

Streetlight comes through I don't bedroom it would be an easy fix to have a covering on front door or bedroom entrance. That has been a complaint of many guests so you should address it. Don't let aesthetics trump practicalities.

Lovely design. We felt like staying in an art gallery. The place exuded charming character.

Parking is somewhat tricky in central Hobart.

Street Parking is difficult (time limit) No door on main bedroom No privacy in kitchen with supermarket carpark next door Important to know there’s Extremely steep stairs to loft upstairs for single bed /second room so definitely not suitable for young children Supermarket next door was a little noisy in mornings as is the main road where main bedroom faces but good to grab basic supplies (photo included)
