Beautiful, high-standard apartment with great host communication

We had a lovely stay! Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, making everything really easy. The apartment was beautiful and decorated to a very high standard — it felt stylish, welcoming, and spotless throughout. It had everything we needed for a comfortable night away. The bed was especially super comfy — we slept so well. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

A luxurious stay in a beautiful location.

Location and views stunning, apartment pure oppulence, information around arrival excellent including maps for where to park.

The only problem we found was the lack of hot water for showers. There was no information so only 1 person got a hot shower before we went out for a meal in the evening. It was finally sorted but would have been helpful to know before we were wanting to get ready to go out.

Lovely one night stay

Beautiful decor, great location for a getaway in Berwick. Great facilities in the kitchen.

Only recommendations would be upgrade seating in lounge. Not many comfy seats/sofa space for 6 guests. Supplying amenities such as shower gel would be a nice touch. The key situation is a bit of an inconvenience but we made it work (only as we always left the apartment together).

Wow, wow, wow!

Everything! It's absolutely beautiful and really felt like a home away from home! We even made a point of staying in for dinner to make the most of it. Very high quality furnishings, decoration and kitchenware (plates, glasses etc.) Nice views and great central location. Great showers. Log burner (with logs and matches!) was an unexpected treat, although we didn't need to use it.

A couple of tiny touches were missing (sugar & shower gel), but they didn't detract from the overall experience, which really was fab.

Lots of room for the 4 of us.

Very clean and lots of space with great living room , kitchen and bedrooms. Nice and quiet and secure, and close to everything you need. Great to have two bathrooms too. Kitchen was well stocked.

Enjoyable evening away, in a very nice environment and location

Exceptional it definitely has the wow factor when you open the main entrance door

The door locks. The buildings main door has to be opened and locked closed with a union type key. Also the apartments front door had to be locked shut as it didn’t have any latch type of closing device. As a union safety rep in the nuclear power industry, I felt that in the event of a fire etc, it would be very difficult to exit the property rapidly. Also if anyone wanted to leave the property on their own. Then someone has to unlock both doors to allow them back in side. Not very good I felt

Lovely apartment but needs an immediate repair.

The apartment was extremely well appointed, everything provided was of a very high quality.

The door handle from the bedroom back into the appt didn't work so I was locked in my room for a few hours until a family member arrived to let me out. I sent a message via booking.com but no reply was received from the owner.

* no welcome pack/ information about the apartment to say where things were stored * no hair dryer, dish cloth /sponge or bin * front door was hard to unlock, awkward angle - took me a few attempts to get out * didn't tell me what floor my apartment was on before arrival , had to try all of the doors with my key to find out * no toiletries at all - not even a soap - find this a bit stingy for the price you pay to stay * no kettle ( or may have been one but couldnt find it ) * sofa uncomfortable to watch tv as TV is very high up - also wouldnt let me watch Netflix - it kept saying update payment method ( again find this abit stingy considering the price you pay ) * Internet didnt work * Outside stairs up to the apartment were filthy & covered in bird mess ( I appreciate this can't be helped, but it looked as if they hadn't been jet washed in months)

Lovely stylish and comfy Stay

The Flat was spacious and well equipped. We stayed as 6 adults and 1 child. It was very stylish decor and beds very comfy. Central location. Vera was fab as host.

Only thing was front door which other residents didnt lock but all was ok.

Stylish luxury gem in the heart of Berwick

Stylishly decorated apartment . Set on the middle floor of a lovely property . One of 3 apartments , all accessed from the same front door and by the same very swish staircase ! Great location as central . No parking but long stay parking few minutes walk . Plenty of restaurants easy walking distance . Apartment was cleaned to a high standard . We had a fabulous time and I would definitely recommend this property to others 😁

No negatives but… even better if… KEYS The main front door and apartment door need to be unlocked and re locked by key on exit - meaning if you are in a group , it is not straightforward to leave the apartment independently without locking everyone in ! A second set of keys kept in the apartment would be more convenient and safer . TOILETERIES In terms of basic hygiene I think that as a bare minimum , there should be soap/ Handwash in all bathrooms and kitchen area .( we arrived to literally a splash of very watery liquid in the main bathroom dispenser- and nothing more ) BEDROOMS Main en-suite room is beautiful and finished to the same standard as the living space . Bedroom 2, although well decorated / carpeted lacks the same finish - quite bare apart from the bed and bedside tables - no lamps / mirror / chest / ornaments etc

It’s a great base , not honemely but ok for a few days ,

Lovely modern place, everything you need, toaster, kettle, microwave, oven, dishwasher and washing machine…extras like tea , coffee hand wash and towels was a great help

Definitely need ear plugs, seagulls are horrendously loud, as are the people in the bars and pubs out the Back.. they have double glazed windows with shutters but the light from street lights keeps you awake they could definitely do with having blackout curtains. There was only one key into the building and the apartment, we are a family of five with 19 yr old twins and we all had to wake each other up to lock us out as if we took the keys and there was a fire we could not escape. The downstairs door was also extremely difficult to open. … you must boost the hot water as it only lasts for one shower.. when 5 people need to get ready it’s a big hassle. It looks but the living room seats are very uncomfortable… would be nice to have a comfortable sofa , and chairs… this place is a great base but that’s all .

Glamorous and amazing little gem.

Immaculately presented, warm and comfortable with an added touch of luxury. Everything has been created and designed with love and attention to detail. Location was amazing and everything on the doorstep, host was great too and everything within the apartment catered for our needs. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Beautiful little find and excellent value for money.

The toilet lid was cracked in the ensuite bathroom. There were no toiletries as advertised and many of the additional features from the website were not there eg private beach, etc

The apartment was very spacious and really well furnished and decorated.

Not a lot you can do about it, but it does have a good few steps up to if you not very fit. Could do with a mirror in the second bedroom
