Cozy apartment in a nice neighbourhood — a great choice for short stay in Lyon.

The location of the apartment is great, very close to the metro and bus stops. A lot of shops around as well. The apartment is very cosy and as looked in the photos. The host is very responsive and provide all necessary information and recommendations for the city.

Only a small comment about the checkout to-do list: it would be great to provide a kitchen towel if guests are expected to dry and put away the dishes.

I liked the location very much. I could easily take the bus or metro towards the city center. I also enjoyed shopping - plenty of French and diverse ethnic cuisine offerings - around and strolling along the rivers. As for the apartment itself, I liked the warm decor and that it was quiet. Enjoyed cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. The air conditioning and the modern TV and its features were a fantastic treat. Also the owner is attentive and very helpful with tips and ensuring my stay was pleasant.

Relaxing inner city abode with just the right comforts.

The property itself is furnished with stylish decor. The rooms are all comfortable. In this heat aircon. was great. Fine touches on arrival: sweet muffin and bottled water. The place is cleaned to perfection. Excellent lighting too. Staff and neighbours were very sweet and helpful.

The security system. While instructions were really clear, and a helpful video to locate key was good, the constancy of these instructions prior to, and before departure via email and WhatsApp was too much!

An overwhelming checkout chore list and some neighborhood concerns.

The host was kind and super responsive, which made things easier. The apartment is just a quick 2–3 minute stroll to the metro, and there's a Monoprix less than 5 minutes away for anything you need. The bedding was really comfortable. The living area is set up very nicely for 3 occupants. We also loved the fully stocked kitchen—it had everything from pots and pans to utensils, a large fridge, and even a microwave. The AC in the bedroom worked well.

There are definitely some areas that could be improved to make the stay more comfortable. For an 8-night stay, we were only given one set of sheets and towels, which wasn’t ideal. The living room clock didn’t work, and one of the windows had a noticeable crack that should probably be repaired. While the apartment looked clean at first glance, it was more of a surface-level clean—some dishes and silverware were still dirty and under the bed was quite dusty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The AC in the bedroom worked well, but the unit in the living room didn’t cool the space nearly as effectively. The apartment is located in a very working-class area, which may not be ideal for everyone. We were approached and harassed for money a few times, and there were frequent police sirens at night, which made it difficult to relax or sleep soundly. Another point worth mentioning is the long list of cleaning chores required before checkout. This was the first time I’ve ever received such extensive cleaning instructions at the end of a stay, and it definitely took away from the experience—especially on our final day. Unfortunately, it’s clear that not all guests follow through with these tasks, as we found ourselves cleaning up after previous occupants. I would strongly recommend hiring a professional cleaner instead of relying on guests. After all, most people are on vacation and don't want to spend their last day scrubbing and tidying up. The blackout curtains helped somewhat, but with sunset so late (after 10pm), it remained quite bright in the evenings. Adding blinds or an additional window covering would help a lot. We were given 3 and a half toilet paper rolls for 8 days for 3 guests. There were no paper towels or napkins so we had to buy those too. Lastly, the bathroom is extremely small.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Lyon!

The location is not right in the center of things, but it is only about a 2 mile walk into the main part of town, or the metro and bus are very easy to navigate. The neighborhood has everything you need, grocery stores, food and drink and proximity to the Saone river for walking, running or cycling can't be beat. The place was quiet, and I found a great boulangerie within only a one minute walk. There were plenty of kitchen amenities like dishes, pots and pans, and even scissors and a wine opener. The owner was very nice, responded quickly and even checked in during the middle of my stay to make sure things were going well. The bed was firm, just like I like it and I slept very well in this apartment!

If you are hoping to mostly walk, it may be a little far from the main attractions, but the metro and bus are very easy to take. It was very cold when I was there and the heater really did not put out enough heat at times, and I could have used a throw blanket or something to keep warmer when inside. I stayed for a month and I would also have liked to have a few things like paper towels, extra kitchen towels, more dish soap and dishwasher tablets, but in the grand scheme of things, this was not really that bad. The bathroom is pretty tiny, which is not an issue for me, but if you have wide shoulders you may barely fit at the sink. Also the bedroom is basically the size of the bed, so if you are two people, you will have to crawl over the bed to get in place. For just one person, this is not an issue.

L’endroit parfait

Tout : proximité des transports, proximité de la ville , propreté et confort. La cuisine est très bien équipée c’est idéal pour voyage en famille, c’est petit mais hyper spacieux , la literie très très confortable. Smart télé déjà connecté à Netflix par exemple c’est un plus.

L'appartement est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et est très propre: litterie hyper confortable, matériel de qualité, petit geste d'accueil avec café et viennoiseries .Tout a été pensé pour le client se sente comme chez lui. Anthony est réactif et bienveillant. J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour dans le logement et le recommande sans la moindre hésitation ☺️

Praktisch - heel dichtbij de metro

Heel proper en licht appartement. Er zijn alle benodigdheden om te koken en het appartement proper te houden. Heel dichtbij de metro. Gemakkelijk om naar het centrum te gaan. Anthony was goed bereikbaar en antwoordde meteen op al onze vragen.

Zeer goed gelegen appartement om Lyon te verkennen.

Het is een ruim appartement voor 2 personen met alle voorzieningen. De ligging van het appartement is vlak bij metrostation Valmy en vlakbij een station van het deelfietsensysteem VeloV. Alle bezienswaardigheden en andere wijken van Lyon zijn makkelijk bereikbaar

Un séjour agréable dans un appartement bien situé , propre et parfaitement équipé

J’ai adoré mon séjour dans cet appartement ! Il était parfaitement situé, à quelques pas des commerces et des transports en commun. L’appartement était spacieux, lumineux et très bien équipé, avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et se sentir chez soi. La literie était confortable et tout était d’une propreté irréprochable. Le propriétaire a été très réactif et a pris soin de me fournir toutes les informations utiles. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix, je reviendrais sans hésiter !
