Wonderful and relaxing accomodation

The villa is very modern and it has all the amenities you would ever need. The rooms are spacious and also the kitchen is very well equipped. It is very close to the local beach, restaurants and markets. The owner is extremely nice and ready to help in any situation and I must say she made the stay very pleasent. Hopefully we will come again to finish visting all of Corfu 😁

One small gripe is that, for now, the access ramp for the cars is pretty difficult. But there is a private space right over the road for 6 cars so I wouldn’t consider it a downside.

A Perfect Stay at Villa Marilou – Relaxation, Comfort and Warm Hospitality in Arillas

We had an absolutely magnificent holiday in Villa Marilou. The villa is modern with everything that you would need for a relaxing holiday. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and there's a gas barbecue outside for enjoying meals al fresco. The location is perfect, just a short stroll to the sandy beach and a great selection of tavernas and bars. While the walk back to the villa is slightly uphill, it quickly becomes second nature. Arillas itself has a lovely, laid-back atmosphere with warm, inviting waters and a peaceful vibe. The villa also boasts stunning views, with the sea visible from two sides. Just a couple of minutes' walk away, there's an excellent shop with incredibly friendly staff. However, the standout feature of our stay was the warm hospitality from Vassia and George. The villa is kept spotless with regular cleaning and fresh towels and linens are provided. We were welcomed with a thoughtful hamper of food and wine, which made us feel instantly at home. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Villa Marilou and Arillas to anyone considering a visit. You won’t be disappointed!

We found the drive a little steep for our hire car but there is plenty of off road parking outside, so it didn't affect us at all.

Piękny, komfortowy, doskonale wyposażony dom, idealny dla 5-6 osób. Cudowni, otwarci i bardzo pomocni gospodarze. Wspaniały widok na morze i zachody słońca. W bardzo bliskiej odległości świetnie wyposażony sklep. W odległości ok. 1 km plaża z ładnym piaskiem, łagodne wejście do morza. Blisko plaży kilka restauracji z dobrym, greckim jedzeniem.

Momentami zimna woda woda w morzu, ale wszystko inne równoważy tę niedogodność.

Traumhaft!

Die Villa ist ein Traum! Alles ist nagelneu und die Einrichtung ist sehr hochwertig. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Es gab richtige dicke Bettdecken und nicht die sonst typischen Bettlaken mit Teppichüberwurf. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Es sind ausschließlich Markengeräte verbaut. Der Wohn- und Essbereich ist gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtet. Von der großen Terrasse vor der Küche hat man zu beiden Seiten einen schönen Blick aufs Meer. Dort steht ein großer Markengrill, mit dem man locker für 6 Personen grillen kann. Jedes der drei Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad und eine private Terrasse, sodass man sich auch mal zurückziehen kann, wenn man mit mehreren Personen im Haus wohnt. Die Bäder sind alle neu und funktional. Insbesondere ist uns der gute Wasserdruck positiv aufgefallen, der so nicht überall in Griechenland gewährleistet ist. Unsere Vermieterin war die beste Gastgeberin! Bei unserer Ankunft war alles blitzsauber und sie bot uns an, auch zwischendurch mal sauber zu machen, wenn wir das möchten. Da wir nur zu zweit waren, war das nicht nötig. Aber sie hat regelmäßig den Müll für uns entsorgt und uns bei Bedarf immer neue Handtücher gebracht. Der Kontakt war immer total freundlich und herzlich und sie hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal! Die Villa liegt klasse. Man kann zu Fuß mehrere Geschäfte, Restaurants, Cafés, Bars und sowohl den Strand in Arillas als auch den von Agios Stefanos erreichen. Die Villa hat einen eigenen Stellplatz, auf dem zwei Autos Platz haben, zu erreichen über ein ferngesteuertes elektrisches Tor. Die Einfahrt über den steilen geschotterten Weg hat auch unser kleiner Mietwagen problemlos gemeistert.

An amazing experience in a truly beautiful island!!

The villa is totally new, it literally has everything! It is located in a quiet and peaceful area, close to a mini market. It is is bright and modern, very very comfortable, matresses and pillows were absolutely perfect and the owners were very friendly and helpful!

The parking driveway is a gravel uphill and it was difficult to access it with our car (toyota yaris). However, the owners told us that it would be properly ammended soon. There is also available space outside the villa for parking.
