Fabulous accommodation, fabulous staff, fabulous facilities I would highly recommend a stay.

The location was perfect only a 5 minute walk to the beach, the accommodation is just behind the Bouyata restaurant and Malibu Bar which are owned by the same family. This is a family business and you can see they really are about your experience they were all amazing and couldn’t do enough for us, restaurant was really nice and lots of entertainment between the restaurant and Bar. The pool was a lovely sun trap with plenty of shade if needed and comfortable sun beds. All in all a wonderful place to stay and wonderful people looking after your every needs.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, leider schwacher Service bei Reklamationen.

Sehr schöne und toll eingerichtete Maisonettenwohnung. Ein Hauch von Luxus. Eine Putzfrau hat täglich nach der Wohnung geschaut. Der Pool war ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und der Stand (etwas schmaler, es gibt schönere auf Korfu, Schirm mit Liegen für 15€/Tag) zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Dazu einige schöne Bars und Restaurants in der Nähe. Abends gab es oft Livemusik aus den 60er und 70er Jahren. Wenn wir Glück hatte gab es auch einen freien Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft.

Das oft abends die Musik aus den Bars sehr laut ist, damit hatten wir durch die Bewertungen schon gerechnet. Das es manchmal bis 3 Uhr Nachts geht und auch bei geschlossenem Fenster zu hören ist, damit hatten wir nicht gerechnet. Die Kücheneinrichtung war für einen gehobenen Standard in dieser Preiskategorie generell schlecht ausgestattet. Es gab zu wenig Tassen und Messer. Auf Anfrage auch wegen einem fehlenden Toaster und einer nicht funktionierenden Klimaanlage gab es nur die Antwort "wir kümmern uns".. aber passiert ist bis zur Abfahrt nichts! Schlechter Service, für den Preis kann man als Gast mehr erwarten, daher 3 Punkte Abzug!

Lovely friendly place to stay, friendly staff, fabulous room and allover great vibe

The King suite was fantastic... spacious, clean and comfortable, with facilities to cook on site and a wonderful large terrace overlooking the fabulous pool... and with sight of the sea. The pool was very comfortable and relaxing and the service was exceptional. Greek night was great fun and so was the food. Theo was a fantastic addition to the team... in fact he was an integral part of it. He was everywhere at once and doing everything from sweeping the pool area to making cocktails and serving drinks - to fire dancing!! Best all, he was exceptionally warm and friendly and made us feel right at home. We were sent a very warm and welcoming text message from Marou before arriving and she was very helpful when we told her I had left my glasses on the bus. Unfortunately, despite her efforts, she did not get anywhere with the bus station which was not her fault. I really appreciated that she tried her best. She helped with our other request too. The proximity to the beach, local bars and restaurants and supermarkets was perfect. It's relatively quiet and peaceful in Arillas and we loved the friendly people there and the allover vibe.... not forgetting the glorious sunsets!

Nothing serious... all little things that did not spoil what was a wonderful stay. But for the sake of feedback I will mention a few minor things. As beautiful as it was, it was a little bit hard to navigate the pool as it was in the middle of a jungle and hard to avoid the trees when walking around! :-) Personally I would have appreciated more sunbeds not shaded by trees. It was a shame that we had intermittent problems with the hot water supply although it was always sorted when we reported it. By the time we left the water was cold again and the sink tap down to a trickle. Secondly, we had read about other guests' experience of ants in the room and we had the same problem. I'm guessing nothing can be done about it. We really enjoyed the Greek night but it would have been nice to be apprised of the extra cost beforehand.

Great location, fabulous staff

Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean. Nice pool, very central. All of the management and staff were lovely people. A special mention for Theo, Tina and Maria who were outstanding, so friendly and helpful. Theo and Maria’s Greek dancing demos were superb.

A fabulous place to stay in a stunning spot

Our apartment was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The pool was beautiful and larger than we expected. The best thing about the stay though was the staff! So friendly and helpful. They helped with our bags, made a real effort with the kids and always had a smile on their faces. Also the cleaning staff - so kind and helpful and somehow managed to keep our rooms clean and sand free even with our three kids. The local beach was so beautiful we didn't bother visiting as many other beaches as we had planned because it was a hard beach to beat!

Beautiful, calm and relaxing.

The property was fantastic. We stayed in a 'King Suite' which had a massive double, & the kids had a single sofa bed each. It was a huge studio apartment with a massive balcony overlooking the pool. The property was very modern and clean and the hosts were so friendly, as were all the other guests. Our kids were very welcome but the atmosphere also suited adults too. The pool was beautiful with plenty of loungers even in mid august. It's a 2 minute walk to Arillas beach - one of the nicest we visited in corfu. The water was calm, it's sandy and there are umbrellas to rent or spaces to put a towel if you wish. The kids loved it. There are plenty of tasty restaurants on the beach and around the small village. The villages in Corfu often have narrow roads so this was similar but very easy, and there were areas to park if the hotel itself is full. There are a couple of shops to buy food & beach stuff like inflatables. In general it's one of the less busy beaches, no water sports and a calmer vibe all round which we loved. There are some late night bars, and one near the hotel the music can we quite noisy till about midnight. But in our room we barely heard it as we were across the pool from it.

There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

Suita była nowoczesna, czysta i wygodna. Basen i jego otoczenie dobrze utrzymane. Bardzo blisko do plaży.

Brak dbałości o rośliny na terenie naszej suity, suche trawy i zaniedbane bananowce trochę nam przeszkadzały. Dodatkowo jacuzzi było już mocno zużyte, sporo zanieczyszczeń takich jak robaki i kamień z filtrów nie zachęcały do skorzystania.

Brilliant stay. Cleaners amazing (beds and room cleaned daily). Pool staff amazing (thank you theodoris!). Very easy to get hold of the management if needed (thank you Marou for helping when my son was ill) Room was lovely and perfect location. We will definitely be back next year!

Au secours, fuyez!!

L'emplacement en centre ville d'Arillas qui est un village Grand appartement, lit et canape confortables, grande terrasse

Attention: Arillas est une station balneaire familiale donc calme. Lorsque nous avons reserve le Emar a un tarif assez eleve, nous ne savions pas que nous devrions dormir avec la musique des 2 bars juste a cote, avec musique et karaoke jusqu'a 1h du matin!! Impossible de dormir. Je m'en suis plainte en whats app le soir meme aupres de la personne qui nous avait remis les cles. Elle me repond que cest normal on est en pleine saison touristique donc je comprends que ce sera le bazar tous les soirs. Je n'ai rien contre cela mais j'aurais souhaitee etre informee dans l'annonce de Booking que je ne pourrais pas dormir!! Nous la prevenons que nous partirons des le lendemain matin car pas possible de rester 3 nuits ici. Elle me retorque que si je souhaitais du calme, j'aurais du aller a 10kms (tres professionnelle). Refus de me rembourser les 2 nuits supplementaires, j'ai donc ouvert une reclamation au pres de booking car j'ai du trouver un autre hebergement en derniere minute. Je n'ai pas eu besoin d'aller loin, j'ai reserve 2 nuits a l'hotel Mirage a 300 metres et en bord de plage....au calme...... Je n'ai pas compris le concept de cet endroit. Il y a des villas directement derriere le bar/restaurant qui ont du etre ajoutes apres. Visiblement un certain nombre etait encore en travaux. Ce n'est pas un etablissement a proprement parler car il n'y a pas de lieu d'accueil. La personne avec qui j'etais en contact est la responsable du bar. Par ailleurs, j'avais reserve une villa avec jacuzzi qui etait inutilisable, il etait degoutant et visiblement hors de service. Des spots partout dehors impossibles a eteindre qui genent pour dormir.... J'ai reserve suite aux nombreux commentaires positifs sur cet endroit mais je ne comprends vraiment pas pourquoi. Je suis Genius 3 et c'est la 1ere fois qu'il m'arrive de me tromper autant en me basant sur des commentaires....

At the heart of Arillas

Great location in the heart of Arillas with walking distance to everything and especially to the gorgeous beach. Arillas is quiet and a gorgeous place to visit, very relaxing as away from the more touristy and crowded areas of Corfu. Very large and well appointed comfortable rooms with a chic modern design.

It is marketed as a hotel but it is more of a holiday rental with self catering possibility...there is no possibility to have breakfast on site. There is a bar on the property which is a little loud in the evenings. The room interior isn't matched with the exterior design.

A beautiful, relaxing getaway spot – we’d come back in a heartbeat!

The property is stunning – exactly like the photos, if not better. The pool area is spotless and stylish, with super comfy sunbeds. The rooms were modern, spacious, and very clean. Staff were friendly, helpful and made the stay even more enjoyable. Location is perfect – peaceful but close to the beach and restaurants.

Wi-Fi could be improved in some areas, especially near the pool. Also, breakfast options were limited if you’re staying longer than a few days – a bit more variety would be a big plus.

Amazing holiday great place to stay!

The team working at the Emar and Malibu bar were amazing. So helpful and thoughtful throughout our whole stay. Lovely modern decor in the maisonette, we stayed in the talum one and it gave all of the right vibes! From the larger furniture to the small touches it was all perfect. Beds were comfy, lots of seating, kitchen etc Mosquito nets on all of the doors and windows they really thought of the small things.

Broken shower head but I’m sure that will be fixed soon.

A well needed restful stay with everything we needed

Perfect location and the apartment was spotless spacious and well equipped. Our hosts were kind friendly and attentive they made our stay relaxed and were always there if we needed anything. The new pool is a perfect little oasis of calm away from the street in fact it’s so tucked away you wouldn’t know it was there. The sun loungers were super comfortable and the pool and surrounding area clean and beautifully put together. Bouyata restaurant just set behind the pool area does fantastic food highly recommended ! And Malibu bar is the perfect spot for cocktails and plenty of TVs for sports fans also lots of evening entertainment. The most wonderful holiday with the most perfect apartment and hosts thank you !

Modernes Apartment mit schönem Pool in lauter Umgebung

Die Einrichtung in der Junior Suite ist sehr modern und schön gestaltet. Eine Kaffeemaschine sowie benötigtes Geschirr ist vorhanden. Die Poollandschaft ist einzigartig und es gibt genügend Liegen mit dicken Auflagen, wodurch sie sehr bequem sind. Die Nähe zum Strand ist perfekt. Fußläufig in 2 Minuten erreichbar!

Grundsätzlich entspricht der Aufenthalt nicht dem bezahlten Preis. Durch die Musik der angrenzenden Bars ist es bis spät in die Nacht sehr laut. Leider schotten die Türen und Fenster kaum Lärm ab. Da die Junior Suite direkt am Pool angrenzt, wird man auch von Lärm wach, wenn sich Personen nachts im Pool vergnügen, obwohl dies eigentlich untersagt ist. Das Zimmer wurde tagsüber nicht gereinigt oder der Müll entsorgt. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Chef wurde dies dann erledigt. Wenn man am Pool liegt besteht die Möglichkeit Getränke und Essen mit einem Rabatt von 10% zu bestellen. Erstens wurde dieser Rabatt nicht abgezogen und wir mussten abermals nachfragen. Zweitens ist das Essen sehr überteuert für den Geschmack und die Größe. Außerdem liegt unter und neben den Liegen Müll und niemand räumte es während unseren 4-tägigen Aufenthalts weg. Es gibt keine „Rezeption“, um sich mit Anliegen oder beim Check-in/out an jemanden wenden zu können. Beim Check-out mussten wir in die Bar, wo wir nach ein paar Minuten einen Mann trafen, welcher dies übernehmen sollte. Er war aber eher uninteressiert und niemand fragte, wie unser Aufenthalt war oder ob es Anregungen gäbe.

Clean and beautiful apartment, nice pool area, very close to the beach. Daily room service.

Loud music until 1 am in the evening. The pool-area is used by guests from the bar and restaurant that belongs to the Emar Corfu and therefore it was sometimes pretty crowded but overall really nice.

Comfortable, clean and great location.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the new Emar Corfu. The restaurant served excellent food and the apartment was very modern, clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great, staff were all lovely.

Not a lot, mosquitoes, but once we were wise to this ut wasn't an issue.

I booked this honeymoon suite by mistake for me and another widow but it was fine - she had the bed and I had the couch that was kindly made up as a bed. we still had to share the bathroom. However, I would have been disappointed had I been on my honeymoon as the lovely outside space was NOT private.

Wonderful apartment, super host

The apartment was fantastic, immaculately decorated and super clean. The area is beautiful, beach two minutes walk and delicious local restaurants. Our host was amazing, we had a medical emergency on Easter Sunday and he quickly organised an appointment and filled us with confidence. We can’t wait to return!
