Casiola - Spacious apartment in Ghent with big terrace

Das Apartment ist wunderschön, supersauber und sehr komfortabel, es gibt eine tolle Terrasse. Die Lage ist für einen Städtetrip perfekt. Unser Mietauto konnten wir bequem auf einem für uns reservierten Stellplatz in der Garage abstellen. Das Stadtzentrum ist zu Fuß in etwa 25 Minuten erreichbar. Außerdem befindet sich nur eine Straße weiter eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle, von der aus man fast direkt zur Burg Gravensteen gelangt. In der Nähe des Apartments liegen die Docks mit einigen netten Lokalen direkt am Wasser – ideal, um bei einem Drink den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Auch ein großer Supermarkt mit einer riesigen Auswahl ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Insgesamt eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft – wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden sie jederzeit wieder buchen!

great location, good kitchen

There was a strong, bad smell coming from all the bathrooms, maybe due to the construction site next door. Gave me a headache at night trying to sleep in the bedrooms, ended up sleeping on the couch.

Excellent apartment, truly spacious. Super convenient with two bathrooms and laundry room. Well- equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. The huge terraces offer fantastic views. Proprietor was very responsive when we had a question. It was an easy walk to the tram stop (under 5 min), longer walk to the Dampoort train station (15-18 min), and not a bad walk to the center of town (12 min). The brewery just a block away was fun in the evening and there is a great grocery store close.

Poor communication about the issues we had - no WiFi for the whole time and a dead decaying bird on the balcony. They tell you to use the chat option on the internet and you get repetitive AI replies. It took over 24 hours to have the bird removed - there were an increase of flies because of it - disgusting. Apparently the WiFi was a faulty system, but it wasn’t sorted at all in our 3 night stay unfortunately
