I had a wonderful stay at The Boatel and was very satisfied with the service. The room was cosy and comfortable, and the location is perfect—just a short walk from the historic centre of Ghent. The breakfast was very good, and Captain Sven is a fantastic host: welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I would definitely recommend The Boatel and would happily stay here again!

The Boatel is an unusual and interesting place to stay and Captain Sven is a great host. Breakfast is excellent. We loved being on the water and so close to Ghent’s historic centre.
The property is lovely but there is construction work happening nearby which started early each morning.
